We chose Dr. Ernest and Gull Point Animal Clinic after reading the many amazing reviews left by his clients. He is, hands down, the best vet we have ever dealt with in 11 years of living in different states owning our boxer and doberman. We have owned Doberman Pinschers for many years. We did our research looking for a vet that was experienced in the art of ear cropping. Needless to say there are none left locally and in the surrounding areas, which is a shame. I was able to speak with Dr. Ernest on the phone before we brought our puppies in for their first visit. He was so informative and made me feel at ease with the whole process. He truly looks at ear cropping as an art and not many vets are left like that. Most importantly his number one focus is our pets comfort and seeing the process of aftercare all the way to the end and it being a good experience. We took them in for their shots and ear consultation. I cant stress how much Dr. Ernest pays attention to detail and evaluates each dog individually. He has many methods to post ears afterwards depending on your dogs needs. The surgeries went quickly, smoothly, and our happy babies were back home with us the same day. The staff called the day after each surgery to check on them. Dr. Ernest and his staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and that your pet is loved. He also has the option of home visits for various reasons. We were looking for a vet that would come out to our home when it is time for our older dogs to be put down. It is a smaller clinic, which I love. Some clinics in the area are so big that you feel like a number in there. They cant remember your dogs name or just dont feel personal at all. We just transferred our other two dogs records to Gull Point after not being pleased with the care provided. We will stay with Dr. Ernest for many years to come. HIGHLY recommend them!

A friend recommended Dr. Ernest and we used him to care for our 3 dogs for 5 years. We moved away and came back to town with only cats. So we brought the cats to Dr. Ernest for their yearly visits. It was then that we discovered how skilled he is with both cats and dogs. His demeanor is gentle which puts the animals at ease. I think of him as the "cat whisperer". Daisy, our very high strung cat, tore up every vet we took her to when we lived out of town. Dr. Ernest has such a way with the animals that they almost dont realize they are being evaluated. Debbie, his office manager, has been with him for 12 years! She is amazing as well and usually calls the next day to follow up on your sick pet. We are planning on adopting a dog soon and there is no question as to which vet we will take him to. If you are looking for a skilled, caring vet to look after your 4 legged loved ones look no further!

My husband and I were stationed in Pensacola with the Navy when our dog, Butters, had to have her leg amputated. Were so grateful we found the Gull Point Animal Hospital. Dr. Ernest and his team made a stressful time so much easier with their expertise, calmness, customer service and affordability. The receptionist and vet assistant were wonderful. And the quality of service is that of a much pricier clinic. Thanks, guys! Butters is doing fantastic! And can run, swim and is often the center of attention. She has no clue shes down one limb. =)

Best Vet of my Life in the years of having My Dog. You can really tell they are all about Long term relationships with customers at Gull Point Animal Hospital. The prices are always fair especially in your time of need, for instance when my dog needed surgery on his leg. They call to ask if what they did for your dog is working, showing they care. I just really recommend this as your vet place no matter where you live, drive to here on Creighton in Pensacola for your vet its worth it! :)

It was VERY important to me to find a veterinarian that would not only be knowledgeable about my pets physical health needs but also their emotional fragility. Dr. Ernest and his staff at Gull Point have been an important part of all my pets physical and emotional recovery. I would recommend them to all people who love their pets and regard them as part of the family.
