I literally rushed a foster dog we had over because he had extremely bloody diarrhea and vomiting. ONE HOUR prior to showing up, I called and let them know we were coming with a list of his symptoms and his history (we only had him a couple of days and over night his condition worsened from not wanting to eat to being near death). When we got there, we were shown into a room where we had high hopes that he would be seen. Apparently before we got there, there was another emergency... we were completely ignored for 15 minutes while this pup was leaking bloody diarrhea from his rectum. Finally a vet and a vet tech came in... the vet looked him over and proceeded to explain what he felt was needed. Which was a parvo test, antibiotics, iv fluids, pain meds... 15 minutes later, an iv was NOT put in... he was NOT given pain medication or antibiotics.... parvo test was NOT done. But they had time to write up an estimate for the bill. Then finally they came in with meds... they couldnt get the pain medication into his vein... but they did give him an antibiotic... still no IV fluids. But they did have another estimate for us to review. We did not CARE what the bill would be... we wanted these people to TRY to save his life. We felt in the VERY LEAST, pain medication and an IV should have been the first things given. Instead they were too concerned about the bill... and I do not say this lightly... but after the THIRD ESTIMATE in a HOURS TIME came to us, and the only thing given was an antibiotic shot... I have to question these peoples morals. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE IF THEY ARE HAVING AN EMERGENCY. We did in fact repeatedly state that we wanted an iv put in... over a hour later they attempted to put one in, I presume. They conveniently said they did (and we were billed for one), but then five minutes later he died. The vet tech that was in the room was extremely rude... and SLOW... and unconcerned that this young dog was literally dying in front of our eyes. She chastised us for coming in and expecting them to do anything.... saying they had BOOKED appointments, that they had another emergency, and that they had no history on the dog... even though we had called over a hour beforehand and were told they would be ready for him. This dog was probably too far gone to save... but we were paying for them to try. Believe me, they still charged us over $300 for the nothing they did. I would hate to see what they charge people when they actually attempt to save a life. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this clinic.

We recently moved to Pace. The Ark was the Veterinarian Hospital recommended to us by people we talked to. Everyone assured us the Ark took care of pets as if they were their own. That is very true. We were in Pace two months and it was time for our Baxter’s annual physical. From the very beginning the staff was both friendly, and professional. At that exam a mass was found. The x~ray made it clear, it had to be removed. In surgery a large vascular hemangiosarcoma was found, and it had incorporated the right kidney, spleen and lobe of the sliver. The only kind thing to do for Baxter was let him go. Dr. Harper, Ilka and Donette were amazing, and The Ark is full of a compassionate, loving and highly skilled professional staff. They made one of the hardest decisions, saddest moments, and one of the worst weeks of our lives bearable. Dr. Harper was very personable. She took the time after hours to phone us to talk with us to explain just what happened to Baxter that day. That made all the difference right there. We are not ready for another fur~baby, but when we are, if we are in this area, the Ark is the only place we will go. This is a very well run veterinarian office. I wish Baxter had been in their care the whole of his life.

I moved down to Florida from Georgia approximately 3 years ago. I had been to a couple of vet offices and was extremely disappointed. One of my dogs has cancer and the vets were not knowledgeable in this area nor did they seem compassionate. I was totally discouraged and annoyed. While at work I asked around if anyone could recommend a "GOOD" vet. I was provided with the Ark Animal Hospital in Pace. I called them, made an appointment and had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Summerlin. He took time to speak with me regarding both of my dogs. And then printed information for me regarding type of cancer my one dog had. I had not felt that comfortable with a vet since leaving Georgia. I strongly recommend this vet clinic to anyone who loves their pets. I can not say enough good things about this Vet Office.

Ark has some of the finest doctors and technicians. From the moment you walk in the door everybody is not only welcoming, but also knowledgeable of any questions you have. They dont try to sell you something that you dont need. They prices are not extreme like some places will charge and it is worth every penny. For years our pets have been treated there and even behind closed doors, they take the absolute best care of you and your furry family. They make sure you stay on schedule with vaccinations and give you reminders about upcoming appointments. This is an excellent buisness that makes you feel taken care of.

After a nightmare with Santa Rosa Vet I am glad to drive out of my way for such great staff and Vets here. They are one of the best around my area. It took me going through a few for the perfect fit for my lil guy but Arc is the one. They are very caring, you never have to worry about calling them when your animal is very sick and have them tell you that it will be 2 weeks before they can be seen, here they will work you in and you normally dont have to wait that long when you are a work in. I love this Vet and there staff. I only RECCOMEND this Vet in my area. See on our next visit.

Amazing place for boarding and having your pets checked on! The employees are all obvious animal lovers and they do a great job of making you and your pet feel welcome. They are very informative on what they are planning on doing and what they find out about your pet. They will do everything they can to help you take care of you pet and keep them healthy. Ark will also board your dog, and if your are planning to board them for longer than 3 days then Ark will even give your dog a complimentary grooming. Great place and great people!

My dog and cat have both been patients at Ark for 7 years. Between the two of them we have had to make several emergency trips for seizures, suturing up wounds and an injured back. The entire staff at Ark have always been very prompt in seeing my pet and have always provided great care and follow up. Making appointments for routine visits is easy and they always get us in quickly. I highly recommend Ark Animal Hospital and I am grateful for the excellent care they have provided our pets.
