Dr. Handza is amazing, thorough and genuine. If I have to wait a while, no big deal, the nurses do most of the work and he comes and does a complete review of my pictures and lets me know straight away how things are and everything else I need to know. He takes as much time as he needs to make the appointment worth the trip. I fly in from out of state to see my doctors and Dr. Handza is one of them. Ill continue to do so for the level of care I get from this office and Dr. Handza. Personal, professional and knows his stuff. I wont trust my eyes with anyone else. Those that think it is a factory, they have a process and it works, sure you might have to wait and sometimes the appointments take longer, but worth it to me, they are my eyes!

IIt took me a month to get an appointment which I don t mind. When I called for an appointment I informed them that it was cataract consultation. I went in for my appointment and they asked me why I was there and I told them for cataract consultation and gave them my referral. I was told that I was not scheduled to see a cataract doctor and I asked what the confusion was. In the next breath the girl told me that the doctor had an emergency the previous day and wasn t in. Now I don t know what to believe. If the doctor was not to be in I could at least received a phone call, Called my medicare provider and explained what happened. If they can t keep their appointments straight, how am I to trust them with anything else.

I wish I had read the other reviews first before making my appointment. I waited an hour and a half just to get into the back office and then was "skipped over" in two different waiting areas so it ended up taking 3 1/2 hours for an eye exam. Front desk staff nice, exam tech nice and proficient, doctor was aloof and, if you blinked, you missed her altogether. I was interested in contacts, but she didnt discuss them or do that part of the exam for them. If you want to feel like you matter, dont go there.

My experience with the Eye Associates of Pinellas was not good. I liked Dr Oberlander, however I found his staff to be rude and condesending. There were multiple delays due to rigid staff rules and less than courteous communication. I chose to severe my relationship with this firm and go elsewhere based on the above. I do not recommend the Eye Associates of Pinellas.

I had PRK surgery through Eye Associates of Pinellas and am 100% satisfied with the results. The doctors and staff are very friendly and professional. I was pretty nervous about the procedure but they did a great job at explaining everything to me and were there every step of the way. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I have been to this office twice now and it is a beautiful place, clean and easy on the eyes. The staff are very nice they are all smiling and friendly and caring. DR. Oberlander He is good. Concerned and easy to talk to. To me that all means a lot it is not like some places where you dread going to. My whole visit was nice.

It was maybe 20 years ago that I was referred here by my PCP because of an emergency. They all but rolled out the red carpet for me. After a thorough examination, I was sent for laser surgery for a detached retina. It was my right eye and I have little vision in my left. I owe my vision to your vision-All that in 6 hours!

They are nearly impossible to get in for an appointment with. This reminds me of a factory. I called Megan at Gulfcoast EyeCare and she was able to get me in right away with Dr. Fleming. What a great staff. I had a cornea abrasion and Eye Associates couldnt accomadate me. CRAZY...its an emergency people.

Horrible company. I just received notice of their data breach, only I was never a patient. I called and was told that it doesnt matter that Ive never been a patient, and for some reason they have my personal information. They had nothing further to say. Not very helpful.

Every doctor whom I have seen here has been so knowledgable and helpful in getting and keeping my eye pressure at an acceptable level. My husband has had several issues with his eyes and the doctors have really gone above and beyond to take care of him.

I am a diabetic. My primary doctor wanted me to have my eyes checked. My experience was fine. Everybody has been very helpful. I would refer anyone who needed to see an eye doctor to you.
