I had (and am continuing to have) a horrible experience here. First, they wouldnt trust that I knew my own prescription. So before I could order my glasses, they would need a fax from my eye doctor. Their fax machine was broken, however, so my doctor called and confirmed my prescription. The associate confirmed she placed the order while talking to my doctor. They took the copay out of my account. One week later, I call to check on the order. THEY NEVER ORDERED MY GLASSES! When I spoke to a manager, he tried defending it by claiming my doctor never faxed over my prescription while ignoring me telling him their machine is broken. I have yet to receive an apology; instead, they are finding every way possible to blame me instead of owning up to their mistake. When I gave the number of my doctor to him, the manager said he would call. I received a phone call from him 30 minutes later. He actually didnt take down the number of my eye doctor and he needed me to tell it to him again. I am disgusted with the customer service I have received at this business. I have an incredibly rare eye disease (TSPK) so I cannot wear contacts and I had initially lost my glasses, which is why I came to this location to begin with. No one is understanding of the need for glasses and how it has been affecting my work and schooling. Once I receive my glasses, I will never go here again. They havent tried to compensate for any of the stress or errors of their ways.

I went here intending to buy contacts. I normally buy them elsewhere but recently moved and was just looking for a convenient location. I normally spend a little less than $60. The woman I was working with quoted me for nearly $160 for 2 boxes, a 3 month supply, of contacts. I was obviously shocked and assumed it was a mistake and asked her to double check that she had entered the correct contact prescription. She called another associate over to check and they both confirmed it was correct and restated the near $160 quote. Obviously I left without purchasing. Later that day I was in Walmart and decided on a whim to check the price at their optics center. It was $50 shipped to my door for 2 boxes (3 month supply). That is a serious discrepancy! This company is ripping people off at more than double the normal price! Buyer beware - do your homework before purchasing anything here.

The staff had little to no knowledge of the differences in lense materials and I ended up needing my glasses remade because the first pair arrived not only damaged physically, but with lenses that caused pretty bad light distortion. The overall price was ok, but they get you in with their "deals" and the lense upgrades are priced way over normal costs in order to make up for it. Finally, their selection of frames is severely lacking for men, making choosing a frame that I liked nearly impossible. Definitely going elsewhere in the future.

I am not very happy with my experience with the glasses world . Purchased my glasses a little over 2 years ago and frame broke and tried to purchase new frames which I paid $69 for but they keep giving me run around that I did not purchase these framed through them when these were the only glasses Ive ever purchased. So they tell me if I want my glasses fixed it will be another $400 . I feel these frames can be purchased they just want me to spend another $400 unnecessarily. Ill take my business elsewhere thanks

I went to Optical Outlets and had a great experience. I was able to use a Groupon, and they honored it with no hidden fees or charges. I walked out with a great pair of glasses for less than half the price of what Visionworks quoted me.
