I must start off by saying that I have never made a public complaint about any organization/business before. However, my experience with Eye Savers in Port Orange has been so unpleasant that I have felt the need to inform others. The front office staff, one person in paticular- who others have mentioned, are very rude and unprofessional. When a customer calls to check on their glasses, the employee does not need to answer the phone and huff and puff, and act annoyed with you. Nor does she need to make "faces" while on the phone with you and a family member is standing right there in the office watching her. Needless to say, this will be the LAST time that I deal with this office. Furthermore, I will encourage family and friends to go elsewere for their vision needs. Little piece of knowledge for their staff.........this is taught in Marketing101......"Your best advertisement is by word of mouth... from your customers."

Really great experience. Came here when I lived in Port Orange a few years ago and recently ran out of contacts so I called up a bunch of places in Gainesville where I go to school and couldnt find a reasonable contact exam price. Drove the 2.5 hrs home and left the office with a contact exam + 3 month supply of contacts + free pair of glasses for $98! Dr. Broome was really great and answered all my questions even about LASIK surgery someday. The office staff and Doctor remember me and I am looking forward to coming back again! You really cant beat the price and theyre very fast/efficient.

Eye Savers Port Orange/Nova Rd Busy office. Dr.Broome is nice and thorough - five stars! The staff of ladies..... just getting the patients in/out and getting through their daily grind. For me, they cared less about vision insurance because mine "doesnt help you anyway, you have no coverage (blank stare)", as Im paying the bill..."Next!", "Oh yea, we will see ya next year (smile, sorta)." Hurried and just plain bored with their jobs Id say.

I was pleasantly surprised by Eye Savers in Port Orange. The office was laid back and comfortable and the optometrist was very nice. They also have a nice selection of frames (though the office is small, so dont expect it to be like an eyeglass superstore) and offer more variety for Medicaid patients than Ive seen elsewhere.

I Recently received an eye exam for contacts at this location and had nothing short of a pleasant experience. The staff is all friendly and accommodating. The exam was better than previous ones I have had, and the price is very competitive with other eye doctors.

The people can be nice but they’re totally overpriced. For example, to get anti-glare on a single one of your glasses here costs $90 whereas at Americas Best it costs about $73 for two pairs. Another point is Eye savers has much less variety than the ladder.
