Went to see Dr. Kenneth after spending too much time at a big name national chain. The waiting room at the big name had rows of metal chairs like a DMV. Worse, they never had enough trial contacts on site so Id have to come back once a week just to try another pair. Getting my astigmatism right is tricky because I need the right axis with the right contact (does not spin and must be comfortable) so it turned me off to contacts... until I went to Avalon. Seeing Dr. Kenneth was a totally different positive, pleasant experience. He spent as much time as it took (1.5 hours) to find me a contact lens that fit perfectly. He had plenty of samples on site so we tried 5 different pairs in a single visit. I took 3 home and tried them for a few weeks and finally settled on the best choice. If youre tired of a long wait and impersonal service and want a Dr. who treats you like a real person, go to Avalon Park Eye Care!

Absolutely horrible service. From not being greeted by any of their front desk workers to them breaking federal laws, I am completely appalled that the American Optometric Association would allow this practice to even run. They do not think and try to work as little as possible. It smells weird and Cecilia cannot answer any simple questions. She seems pretty incompetent. Please go to another eye doctor so you will not have the issues that I did!

Oh boy. This place is sooo great! I love it. The staff is friendly, and the frame selection is just wonderful. Lots of designer stuff to make me look more intelligent and important. However I too, just like the other reviewers, are just basically someone thats never been to this joint or works on the staff to give it a good rating. Good restaurants around in this weird part of Orlando to eat at after your eye exam. I’m talking Stepford Wifes.

Awesome selection. I loved this place, I was seen on-time (actually a little earlier than my appointment). They carry many frames, so many to choose from. I ended up getting a pair of ProDesign frames and I love them. They took my insurance plan, have great frames, nice and friendly staff, and the doctor (I saw the woman) was very personable. Overall this is a great eye care center. I am going back for a back-up pair of glasses.

I had a bad experience here. Dropped my reading glasses off to have a new lens put in, waited 3 days to hear back from them, but never did...so I went in. They had trouble even finding my glasses, but when they did they pulled them out of a box and said, "Youll need a new prescription in order for us to change the lens." I couldnt believe it. Not sure they would have ever called me. I will not be going back.

I take my two sons here, and myself and my husband too... They are great with my boys. I can pop in anytime I need to have the frames adjusted, and more than once to have the frames replaced due to destruction (they are very active boys). Everyone loves my sons there and talks to them when we walk through the door. They have a decent selection of frames for both adults and children.

I love Dr. Ken. Hes one of the best eye doctors Ive ever been to and I know Ill get a good rx from him whether its for contacts or glasses. They have a small selection of frames, but theres probably something there for everyone anyway. I dont dread going to the eyedoctor like I used to.
