Went for a quick appointment for my son to get medical records transferred from out of state to FL. The nurse spent some time with an unneeded eye and hearing check (OK, first time with doc, fine), then the doctor spent no more than five minutes asking questions, and transferring shots records to the FL forms for school. They then billed for a full check-up/annual appointment (and the eye and hearing test separately) and then lastly when I get the bill, it shows a line item for both Behavior Counseling for Obesity - 15 min and Medical Nutritional Therapy - 15 min. Neither of which occurs. While It may not have cost me anything to get these services performed (which it didnt, as I spent less than 30 minutes in the facility total), it seems awfully like fraud to me - If a doctor can list that (apparently on every bill for every child), then I cant trust them to accurately list anything. I also dont like the fact that they billed the same for a full blown annual checkup as for a five minute visit. I also dont like that the eye and hearing tests were performed and billed for separately. If I wanted an eye and hearing test for my kid, I know what an audiologist and Ophthalmologist is.

This used to be a great practice. The doctors are fantastic and the staff is very nice. However, they have grown so much that there are no appointments available. It takes several weeks to book a routine appointment. If you have an acute need for an appointment, you are going to need to go to a quick care place as they rarely have any availability. This has happened to us 4 times now, it defeats the purpose of having this pediatric office as a primary care provider.

Dr. Lee and nurse Donna are very professional and friendly. When we were extremly worried about our son because he had very high fever, they were professional, patient and made sure he was ok. Front office staffs are friendly as well. We had no problem making appointments with them whenever my son is not well.

I have been taking my children here from the time the office on BigBend opened and I can honestly say, I love the staff. Dr.Bowers is amazing with my children. Its nice to have a doctor that my children feel safe with and that actually takes the time with them.

Settings an appointment can be difficult. No availabilities with in your schedule. With the community growing the way it is I know its hard to accommodate all the patients. They should expand there location or add another location near by.

The doctors are wonderful. The front desk staff are extremely unprofessional. Every time I call, I am greeted by attitude and hostility. I love the doctors but they need new front desk employees.
