My experience was over the course of a few visits. I was overcharged multiple times and have had to prove my insurance with the paperwork each and every time. Each time I prove that they were overcharging me, I was met with a solid attitude. The most recent difference was a difference of $127, my copay was only $50 and yet they wanted to charge me $177, the office manager was quoted as saying "there are hundreds of insurance, how are we to know what you pay".. if they dont know, who will, they are after all the ones who do this everyday. I even provided them with a copy of the most recent schedule of fees. Completely unprofessional! They were also not pleased that I would inquire as to what the treatment plan was and why. When I asked any questions, I was met with an attitude that I should not be asking and just accepting treatment. My children have fluoride included in our plan, but they specifically gave them the one that was the most expensive and also was not covered. They are very good at finding ways to add on services to increase their billing. If you are not concerned about being overcharged, and over-billed then I would definitely say that this would be a fine place for you to go. However if you have any treatment questions or any billing questions tread lightly because they will think of it as having an attitude against them rather than trying to have an informed decision for your own health care treatment. I would honestly not recommend this office, the front office staff were completely unprofessional and continuously incompetent which was apparently supported by the dentist himself.

Beware!!! Overcharged There Hygienist Always did a Good Job there shady up selling of things I did not want done is a Crime. I would ask only for what my insurance would cover (be it that we live Paycheck to Paycheck) All ways walked out with a higher Bill a cleaning was more than just a cleaning.. they dont tell you the extra stuff they are doing which will cost you more money, whether you want it or not.. I would have to ask "What are you doing now is that covered by my insurance" and they would tell me I have to talk to the front office. then they made an appointment to early so my insurance would not cover it. had to pay 100% out of Pocket they had the gall to tell me it was my fault for not knowing what my insurance would cover or not. to ad insult to injury I Had an appointment for June they changed it to April so they could dismiss me as a patient. And refuse to see Me. When I asked why they where dismissing as a patient. They told me that they did not like the Review my Wife gave them for overcharging me about the appointment to early so my insurance would not cover it so they could make more money. the Office managers Quoit "We are purging our office of all negative patients your wife wrote a negative review so we are dismissing you and your wife as a patient" I fill sorry for the People that have to work there you should not have to put up with poor management. Good luck on staying in business.

My 1st of a thousand trips to the dentist started in 3rd grade. 30+ years of fillings, pullings, refillings, root canals, then a terminal cancer diagnosis. Chemotherapy, a maxiofacial surgeon I want to shoot, then I had a tooth crack in half. I was at a loss. Searching for dentist #20 for a train wreck of my few remaining teeth. I chose Smile Design after calling 20+ dentist offices that were all excited about my excellent insurance until they found out I go to chemotherapy every week. I was turned down over the phone. At Smile Design, nothing is a problem. Excellent service and Dr. E is quick & efficient. Im even happy with the bill, and believe me when I tell you Ive been dental billed a lot in my life. Keep up the great work guys!

No Stars! The dentist knowing he was leaving to open his own practice assured me that he would be available to me whenever I needed him as I needed 9 teeth extracted and replacements installed. So he did the extractions and the following week told me he was leaving at the end of the month. I was blatantly lied to with no regard for my concerns. I would have found another dentist of MY choosing not Smile Designs. Needless to say I will have nothing to do with this company ever again. Also I was overcharged for both the extractions and the so called deep cleaning that was done. There is nothing good to be said for this company.

Pissed me off I drove an hour and 45 mins away and before I scheduled my appointment I specifically asked the lady on the phone if they accepted argus dental thru medicaid and the lady said yes. Well she made my appointment and the day before my appointment they called to verify my appointment and she said all set well today I drove ahour and 45 mins and to come find out they dont take my dental insurance. Wtf are you serious.I think its bullcrap I wasted my gas...I want something done about this because you guys didnt pay for my gas. And gas aint cheap

They have lost another patient!! Front staff completely unprofessional. Called me after hours accusing me of owing them money, when every visit they could never get it right. Then jokingly smirked over the phone that i was stupid in not knowing I owed them! Their communication is horrible. One person says different from another. Yet every time I checked out I paid what I was told and it was always more than stated from the beginning. I actually dont even want to rate them!!!

I had a great experience with this office and would highly recommend to anyone.Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. The Dentist is a true perfectionist, prices were competitive and they take most insurances.I can not say enough good about this office. I have always dreaded going to the dentist , now I am comfortable with it and confident that I will not be pressured into services I do not need.

Our whole family has recently switched over to Smile Design Dentistry, and we are very pleased with the services! Our former place of dentistry barely makes a 1 star.. so thankful for the switch! Smile Designs staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the wait time is good, even for busy people. They really seem to care about their patients.

The front office staff did not explain to me that I qualified for a new patient discount , which would have saved me over $50 and they would not check with dentist on one procedure which I questioned However, the dentist, hygienist and professional staff were very caring, explained and performed procedures well, and were efficient.

The entire team is professional, compassionate, and principled. My wife and I have highly recommended RSD to our friends and at seminars weve attended when the subject of a good dental practice comes up. Our best friend was our dentist for twenty years until we moved here and he moved to Arizona. Im glad that we found RSD.

I didnt even have a CHANCE to visit the office, just calling was enough for me. The woman was very short with me when I asked her a few questions, so I felt so rushed to get off the phone that I didnt even get the answers I was looking for. When I thanked her anyway, she responded with a "mmhmm." and hung up!
