I took my dog to the center one time for the annual vaccine/heartworm checkup and to get an estimate on teeth extractions. Two years and an out-of-state move later, I am still receiving emails and post cards advertising their services. Mind you, I never updated my new address with them and I have unsubscribed from their emails countless times. For the average service we received, it is definitely not worth the hassle of being spammed for 2 years and counting. The actual visit was what you would expect from a private vet office. They were very friendly and seemed to like animals well enough. However, the business aspect kicks in very quick. They were eager to push various payment plans I didnt need by telling me my insurance wont cover anything in the visit - it was covered. They were also very pushy to change the heartworm medication so that I could purchase it through their online pharmacy. Its not worth the hassle, there are plenty of other offices to visit who are not trying to scam money from you or spam your mailboxes.

After trying two different vets in the area, I happened upon this one. My cat was undergoing a sudden and terrible change in health. Other vets did not think that my cats problems were a big deal. I felt pushed into tests I did not want to do. But the Cross Creek vet office took me seriously. They were nothing but kind and ALWAYS took as much time as we needed (~1.5 hours per visit) to discuss all of the symptoms and treatment options. Unfortunately, before my kitty could be officially diagnosed by a specialist, she took a turn for the worse. I knew it was time for her to go. They took us immediately. It was devastating to lose my kitty but Dr. Hodges and Paula were so gentle and kind through the whole process. They explained the process in detail so that I would know what to expect. I am so happy that we were able to find compassionate people to care for our animals.

This is an amazing group of people! Where traditional medicine offered no hope for my kitty, they did, through holistic treatments. She responded VERY well to the acupuncture and the supplements we have been giving for the past 2 weeks. While there might not be a cure for the cancer, there is hope for her happiness and pain mgmt while she is with me. It is ALL about them and their comfort anyways, and this group of people understand that. They are direct and honest and dont hype things up or give false hope. I appreciate their approach to these difficult issues.

I have been taking all four of my dogs to Cross Creek Animal Medical Center since we relocated here to Tampa almost three years ago. Excellent team of people! Everyone is very down to earth, easy to talk to, easy to understand regarding medical advice and instructions, and a group of individuals truly committed to their patients and patients families! Keep up the excellent and amazing work you do! I highly recommend Cross Creek Animal Medical Center to any pet owner who truly cares for their pets well-being!! We moved from Michigan and were looking for a vet back in the fall. We called looking for an appointment for a pup who has had a lot of bad luck health wise. We wouldnt dream of taking him anywhere else. I believe Dr. Hodge is the best vet weve taken our animals to. He is thorough and really cares. Weve made probably close to a dozen trips since with both our dog and cat and will continue to return. Thanks for taking such good care of them. We can tell how much you all care. :)

I HAVE TWO CATS, I WAS INTRODUCED TO DR. HODGES AND HIS STAFF WITH MY FIRST CAT JELLYBEAN AKA JB. THEY WERE AMAZING WITH HIM, AND SHORTLY AFTER WE GOT HIS LITTLE SISTER CHLOE. WE HAD TO GET HER LOOKED AT AFTER RESCUING HER FROM A SHELTER. THEY WERE ABLE TO SEE HER WITHIN 2 DAYS AND IT WAS HOLIDAY WEEKEND. THEIR STAFF IS AMAZING WITH OUR BABIES AND THEY LOVE TO GIVE THEM HUGS AND KISSES. I WOULDNT GO TO ANYONE ELSE.

I had very great experience, I was well taken cared of and my dog was treated with such care. The pricing for my dog shots were affordable and I really enjoy the fact they keep you informed on everything that is happening and that will happen on future visit. They let u know how much everything will be before you get there. This animal center is great and I will keep coming and referring all people with pets here.

I am so glad to have found Cross Creek Animal Medical Centre. Dr. Hodge, Paula, and Eniko have taken wonderful care of Phoebe throughout a multitude of issues. Dr. Hodge takes his time to give thorough explanations of treatment plans and answer all of my questions. Phoebe is always happy to see them, which speaks highly to the level of care they provide. I highly recommend them!

Our dog had a potential emergency illness, and we called Cross Creek in an effort to get an ultrasound right away. Folks there went above and beyond to bring in their radiologist on super short notice, actually allowed me in the room for the procedure and have been super sensitive and caring. Very impressed with the facility and staff overall and especially Dr Hodge and Paula!

Dr. Hodge and his entire team are wonderful. I would not take my pet anywhere else. In fact when I moved to Sarasota I drove the hour and fifteen minutes each way every time I needed to take my cat in. I can promise you there is no one better to in trust the care of your fur babies to.
