If I could give 0 stars I would. After initially being told I would need to wait 3 months for my daughter to be seen I was ecstatic that after explaining the urgency of the appointment they were able to work me in a week later. Thats the only positive experience we had with this office. The nurse or tech (not sure what she was since she never introduced herself) was very abrupt and almost rough with my daughter. Dr. Guggino had us in exam room for 5 minutes before I was informed that he thought my daughter was exaggerating her symptoms and that she could see the screen just fine. He seriously asked her if she just wanted glasses. My daughter was in tears in the parking lot she was so upset by this experience. Office manager did speak with us to try to excuse this behavior but there are no excuses for this Physician. Perhaps it is time to retire, Dr. Guggino, because based on your treatment of my daughter I would not recommend you to anyone.

My grand-daughter I have raised since birth was born with a condition called Nystamus. There is no "cure" for this condition, but there are treatments to help her see better. She has been seeing Dr Guggino since age 3 and loves him. He is always gentle and kind to her. He did some corrective surgery last year to help her eye muscles focus in front as opposed to the side of her, and she actually sees better now as a result. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for the experience and professionalism he and his office represents. Staff is always very nice and helpful to us. Thank you Dr Guggino!

I went there to get an eye exam for an injury. They give me an examination that lasted 5 minutes, asks me to come back a week later so they can get the medical records and xrays done at St. Josephs. I come back and theyre asking me if I even got the xrays done and went to St. Josephs. They even had the never to charge me again even though they didnt do anything! I never went back! TERRIBLE.

They are the most incompetent people I have ever left in my life! They didnt understand how to work a fax machine to get my medical records! The rooms were creepy and dimly lit and the woman did not give me a full and proper eye exam! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE THE PATIENCE OF A CAMEL!

This is the only place in Tampa I could find glasses for my 11 month old. Miraflex glasses are amazing!!! My insurance will not pay for them, but they are worth it!!! $160 includes a warranty that covers damage of the lens and frame for three replacements in a year!!!!
