I brought my puppy here after she got out and was hit by a car in front of my house. Before the vet said anything at all about what needed to be done (xrays, etc), he told me "You cant afford to have pets. You need to find a new home for her." He went on about how emergencies happen and they are expensive, and if I cant afford them then I shouldnt have any pets. I asked whether I should "get rid of" my children, too, if they had an emergency that I couldnt afford at that moment. No? Of course not. No one expects something like this to happen, but thats life and you go with it. I finally had to force the conversation away from his apparently negative perception of my disheveled and panicked state in order to force him to tell me what NEEDED TO BE DONE FOR MY DOG. He acted like my dog was not taken care of AT ALL (despite that she is up to date on all shots, etc, just not at this clinic). He was extremely rude, and even my friends who were with me - who had been going there for over a decade - were so floored by my treatment that they arent going back again. Not only that, but after I expressed how unhappy I was to my friends (within earshot of techs- thin doors), he grabbed my arm HARD in order to "apologize" for telling the truth (as he apparently sees it). In reality, he was trying to validate his actions. I will never EVER go back here again after the way I was treated. The woman at the front desk was fantastic- very empathetic and understanding, considering I was traumatized after watching it all happen (I didnt stop crying for 2 days). The doctor, however.. there are no words to describe how shocked and appalled I was and still am. If I could give negative stars, I most assuredly would.

As I was waiting I overheard a staff taking a lot of time giving a concerned pet owner a pep talk over the phone. It was clear they were insecure on fixing the pet and the employee was going out of her way being patient and kind explaining the doctors passion, the reasons for fixing the pet and how everyone there loved animals. I was there because I thought my dog had simply broken his tooth. It turned out he had broken the bone in the roof of his mouth and Dr LaDue was amazing! He was so kind, and his staff was so sweet. I have never met a staff who loved their job so much ever. We have grown so use to seeing bitter cranky employees but this group seems like they really love it, every bit. I would recommend this office to anyone.

I called the morning of July 3rd, knowing that the next day the office would be closed. I asked what the hours would be for today and was told as usual, until 6pm. I left work at 5, rushed to get my dog and made it by 5:30, only to find the place closed. There was also another car there waiting and she said she called too and was told it was open until 6. Why couldnt someone just say there was a chance you would close early? I would have called on my way home and not wasted a trip.

This has always been the best animal clinic. Every other clinic should study them. The staff is by far the best - I am jealous living in Naples now - I have been to many clinics - not even 10% of what Keene is - I recall not having money during the 2008 fall, and my cat was in serious pain. The doctor offered me FREE medicine. I was unable to get there because no money for fuel. But it was so nice to have this offer. They have always been PRO animal.

I have had 3 dogs and 1 cat go to Keene Veterinary over the last 10 years. They have seen all 3 vets there: Keene, Bonneville, and LaDue. They are great at what they do and are so knowledgeable. In high school (10 years ago, yikes), I even did an internship there and saw waht went on behind the scenes. They are so upstanding in their care for animals. I trust them completely.

Diane was so wonderful to me! I never thought about having a cat for a pet but she took the time and explained about owning a cat and introduced me to my beautiful kittens. I went to get one kitten and I left with two. I felt in love my kittens!!! Whenever I take my kittens there I know they would be well care for!!!!

I love Keene Veterinary. They have an excellent staff and amazing doctors that care about you and your pet. Ive brought my dog there and continously they have done so much for me and her. Im so greatfully that I found such a great place. I will always be thankful to Keene Vet for what they have done to help.

Great staff and service. The main problem is the entry to the parking through a gas station and negative zero parking at times. Other than that, the place to go for great care and service.
