We have been trusting the health of our dogs to Dr. Adriana Odachowski (Dr. O) since her arrival at Wellswood Midtown Animal Hospital. We had become accustomed to the extraordinarily wonderful care, professionalism and friendship provided by the previous veterinarian, Dr. Carlos Saavedra, who retired from practice. Naturally, we were a little apprehensive about Dr. O initially since she was new and we had only met her on a small number of occasions when she substituted for Dr. Saavedra while he was away from the office. We decided to give Dr. O a chance rather than take our dogs to a well-respected animal hospital just two blocks away from our home (It takes 30 minutes to drive to Dr. Os office). That was one of the best decisions that we have ever made in any area of our lives. Dr. O is the consummate professional, so knowledgeable, competent and skillful beyond her years. Just as importantly, if not more so, animals are her passion in life and she will even take some very critically ill animals home with her to care for them personally rather than leave them at the practice until the next day. She is one of the kindest, most compassionate, caring and amazing persons that you will ever meet, and also volunteers her time and heart to animals and people in need because its the right thing to do. She is truly an amazing veterinarian and fabulous person. Entrust your pet to her once and you will never want to visit another veterinarian again. Thank you so much for being the person that you are, Dr. O., and thank you for being a friend. Kudos also to her kind and friendly support staff who always greet and treat us with their wonderful smiles and caring personalities.

on 11/9/20211 i took my cat to be neuter and came back with a dead cat an hour after dropping it off , he was a very healthy 3 year old no health problems at all what should have been a simple procedure ,they put him totally under instead of giving him a local sedation .and all the so-called dr.would say is we do everything in a standard way . well i guess killing someone pet is their standard way .no guidance of how to dispose of our belove cat . we walk in with a live cat and walk out with a dead cat having to drive around with in our car thring to find a place to creamated our cat that was the hardest thing to do , no help from the clinic please do not let this office touch any animals they are rude and uncaring only out for the money ,not for the animals......

I requested a spay/neuter for a mom cat (8 months old) and her 8 week old kittens. I was rudely told by staff that they dont fix kittens until over 6 months of age. Excuse me, but kittens at age 4-6 months come into heat and can have babies. They gave misguided information. I took my business to ACT who is fixing mom and kittens next week. Kittens can be fixed at 8 weeks and over 2lbs, the shelters even utilize the practice of fixing kittens who meet the stated guidelines. Very incompetent staff who lack knowledge and thereby are increasing the pet population. And I got the e-mails to prove their correspondence. Im in no way affiliated with anything to give them bogus reviews as they claim under all their negative ratings!

Took my golden retriever for a check-up and they were absolutely fantastic. They were extremely attentive. They spotted a disalignment in my dogs spine that none of our previous vets have noticed (or at least mentioned to us) for years! Theyre experienced and friendly. The vet also personally called us a few days later to check up on our dog, which no previous vet has ever took the time to do so. That really showed us their value for customer service. I couldnt be happier with Wellswood Animal Hospital. I will most definiely return with my other pet as well.

I love this office for several reasons but I will keep it short and tell u about the most important one. They all care for your pets as if they belong to them. My cat was very sick and needed surgery they all worked after hours till 9 at night to do the surgery. Not only did they do that but they charged me less then 1000.00 and the emergency hospital on Busch wanted 4000.00 for the same job. Dr O is the best person I know she is so caring I wish the world had more people like her . So if u r looking for a new pet dr look no more !!!!!! Thanks dr O !!!!

I love this vet, every staff member is extremely friendly and helpful. You can tell that they actually love their jobs and enjoy working with animals. The go above and beyond to make sure they did everything to make the patients feel comfortable. They dont lay the pressure on you like other vets do who are looking just to make money by playing on your emotions. They always present estimates ahead of time, present all options, and put your pets health and happiness first. I had been taking my dogs to Wellswood for many years and will continue to do so.

One of the finest veterinarians practices here and I know she loves all her patients. Dr. O. has been our veterinarian for over 14 years and we have loved every minute of our interaction with her and the staff at Wellswood have always been courteous and helpful with every visit. If you are truly concerned about your animals welfare, then I would suggest going to this clinic. It is a busy one, so have patience, but remember that the vet. you see is the one that will care for your animals like they are her own.

Wellswood Midtown Animal Hospital is amazing! All of the staff is very caring and the doctors are extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. My pets have been sick and Dr. Odachowski gave a diagnosis in which was properly treated and cared for at a reasonable cost. I would feel confident in any of Wellswoods doctors to treat my pets. I highly recommend this hospital for any of your pets needs... even routine annual visits.

They totally gave me options on what to do with my dogs. they have been coughing and meds are not working. standard office visit is $43. which is not bad at all. did x-rays for both dogs and heart worm tests. as well as physical exams and 2 different meds for both dogs. total $405. ($200 for 2 meds, x-rays, exam and heart-worm test is not bad) for me problem is i have two dogs.

Rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful secretaries. The vet might be great but if you cant book an appointment it doesnt matter. These people are your first line of contact with your customers. If you care at all about your image you need to hire people who can answer a phone politely and use a calender, not exactly difficult but still not accomplished here.

Dr. O, Gustavo and the team are wonderful, caring and always helpful. You can be confident your pets will be treated extremely well - as if they were theirs.

I recently visited Wellswood with an abandoned puppy I found. The vet techs expertly handled my little dog and two doctors provided excellent care for her as well. Everyone knew what they were doing and were extremely kind doing it. And, the cost was far less than I thought it would be. Highly recommended.
