The customer service is awful. I went in twice - once for the exam and again to pick out a pair of glasses. Both times an older man was working. He made inappropriate racial comments. Although the comments do not pertain to me, I felt offended. Im a proponent of free speech; however, I am a complete stranger to this man and he should not make assumptions about my opinions, especially if he works in customer service. I ignored his comments and continued to look for glasses, but I couldnt find any I liked. The selection here is very small. I am willing to pay more for glasses I really like, but even the expensive glasses were subpar. I decided to come back another day during the week to try again. When I told the man this, he informed me that I needed to buy glasses that day and that they were doing me "a favor" by letting me look on a Saturday. Since when do businesses inform customers that they are "doing them favors"? I ended up purchasing contact lenses just to get the hell out of there. I will not be back, and I would not recommend this place to anybody.

TOTAL RIPOFF TOO! - Not only were the people there nasty but they also ripped off both me and my insurance company. They charged for an exam for bifocals when I dont wear them. The additional money charged was charged to both me in the form of a copayment and to my insurance company because they claimed to have fitted me for bifocal contacts but in truth they did not! In fact, this quack didnt even change my prescription so I ended up going to someone else to have it done correctly!! They also declared that they would not give me the prescription for my daughters contacts if I didnt purchase the first two pair from them at more than twice the cost of both online and Costco contact lenses.

LIKE THE DR. AND THE FRONT DESK, BUT WENT TO PICK UP MY GLASSES ON A SATURDAY WHEN THE STORE OPENED AND A LADY CAME TO THE DOOR AND TOLD ME TO KEEP MY DISTANCE BECAUSE SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE THERE!....THIS WAS VERY DISTURBING! AS AN AFRICAN-AMERICAN, I HAD TO WONDER IF SHE WAS AFRAID IN WOULD HARM HER IN SOME WAY...EVEN SO, WHEN YOUR STORE OPENS, YOUR DOORS SHOULD OPEN! I HAD TO WAIT OUTSIDE, WHILE SHE RE-LOCKED THE DOORS AND WENT AND GOT MY GLASSES..THEN PROCEEDED TO HAND ME THE GLASSES OUTSIDE OF THE DOOR. I THINK THE HIRING PROCESS SHOULD BE MORE THOROUGH..I DONT BLAME THE OFFICE ITSELF BUT THE INDIVIDUAL MINDSET OF THE EMPLOYEE

I have been going to Dr Patterson for the last 6 years. They have always been polite and helpful when I have gone in to get glasses and contacts. In fact they have stayed open late for me on 2 occasions because I was unable to make it in to pick up my contacts before close. I have never had an issue ordering anything from them, and it has always been pleasant. In fact I have always been able to get a free pair of glasses when going there, and they are willing to clean, repair and correct any damage to the lenses after I have had them for a year or more for free.

I have gone to Patterson Eye for the past 4 or 5 years and I love them. Dr Patterson is very thorough and polite and answers all my questions. His staff is great; especially Nancy who will let you know the best value you can get depending on your insurance coverage. I live them!
