I have been a patient of Vision Source InSight Eyecare for many years, and have found their services and expertise to be excellent. Drs. David and Rachael Sweeney and Dr. Kristi Walts, and their very knowledgeable and skilled team, run a top-notch optometry practice. They employ superior technological equipment for accuracy in diagnosing and treating various conditions, and stay up-to-date on developing technology, products, research and treatment. The doctors go to great lengths to ensure their patients satisfaction with personal details such as contact lens comfort and glasses lens enhancements to minimize eyestrain. Their knowledge base of conditions has made a significant difference with one of my children who suffered from a variety of chronic symptoms due to what we discovered was an eye muscle weakness. Despite visiting two well-respected ophthalmologists, we left with no diagnosis. Dr. Rachael perceived the condition immediately and provided us with a plan of action for therapy which she supervised. With persistence and collaboration, we were able to solve the problem and her intervention made all the difference. Dr. David has introduced me to the scleral contact lens, a revolutionary, state-of-the-art product. It is the first contact lens that I can comfortably wear all day that doesnt aggravate my allergies or dry eye. Vision Source is a one-stop shop for eye care, products and glasses, and is conveniently located in Sandy Springs inside 285 with evening and Saturday hours as well. Additionally, they have a nice selection of upscale frames to browse without even leaving the building. I highly recommend this practice for the whole family.

Dr. Sweeney charged me almost $800.00 for a pair of reading glasses that I can not use. I went into the office for them to fix the situation and they did not remedy the problem. I also wanted to order color contacts through 1-800-contacts and Dr. Sweeney would not let me order in bulk, the contacts were zero power. I feel the office prefers you to order directly from them. I have been wearing color contacts for 25 years and only wear reading glasses when I work on my computer for long periods of time. This office is a complete sham and only wants your money. They do not care about individuals health care, instead put high priority on how much they can scam off people. Do not go to them if you truly need glasses or if you want to pay a fair price for your glasses or contacts. They do not take insurance either. If I could give this office one name it would be PONZI scheme. My daughter had the same problem so we were left with no choice but to file a claim with the medical board.

I had been a patient of Dr. Sweeneys for well over a decade, and had always been happy with their service. However, recently I started noticing surprise charges on the bill. Be careful when they if you like the current pair of contacts you are wearing, because if they make a recommendation ()regardless of whether or not you elect to use the new brand or style) it will cot you $100. During my most recent visit with the doctor, all had gone well and upon checkout, was offered a new test they offered to determine if patients suffered or were prone to a particular genetic disorder. The test seemed like something in which i would not be interested, but after they assured me that my particular insurance would cover the costs, I went ahead with the test. The $255.04 bill i received from the diagnostics company is not why I will no longer visit Insight- their utter lack of sympathy or ownership of their mistake is the reason. Maybe I was wrong to trust them in the first place..

walked in, friendly attractive ladies behind the desk, made an appointment for later that morning to have an eye exam. they said it would be $150 , i thought that was a little high since i usually pay around $100 but said what the hay lets do it. came back got started with the eye exam then about a third of the way through the technician informed me that its going to be a little over $60 extra for contact lens testing,, i wanted both a replacement prescription for my glasses and my contacts... I said I had never heard that one before, ive been getting eye exams for decades,, and eye exam is an eye exam, i also thought it was a bit strange letting me know that after i was well into the testing,,, so that would be over $200 just for the exam. I told her i was done and just got out of there. i called up pearls on peachtree and made an appointment fortoday for an eye exam for both contacts and glasses for $99. Beware when anyone tells you that they want to charge you extra.

My wife and I have been getting our yearly eye exams here for four years now. Dr. Sweeney is the best! This year, instead of getting a cheaper pair of glasses with Dr. Sweeneys prescription at FourEyes, we both bought our frames at InSight. I started having problems with my frames about a week after wearing them. They were uncomfortable (to say the least). After calling up InSight and speaking with John, he made arrangements to come in and adjust them or replace the frames. Well, that was 4 months ago, and I stopped wearing my fancy new frames and was wearing my old cheap frames (with old prescription). I stopped in just last week and spoke with Jeremy about the situation. He was very understanding and let me pick out a new frame! Just picked my "new" glasses up today and I can see again! Thanks so much, guys!

This is a great business. From the moment I called, I was treated with professionalism and kindness. I purchased glasses from them a year and a half ago - which my puppy decided to eat about six months ago, I was dealing with blindness - then decided I couldnt handle it any more. I called and was seen within the hour - withing two, I had new glasses (bifocals - yep) ordered. Cant wait to get my glasses (and keep them away from the dogs)! My whole family comes to Vision Source, we love them. This is truly a "family" business and you can tell the employees are treated well and enjoy their jobs. This is the kind of business that you want to support. If you make an appointment, they will exceed all expectations.

Excellent Doctor! Before coming to Dr. David Sweeney, I did not know what clear vision really was. I assumed that the vision I had with the products I received before coming to him was as good as it gets. My vision is extremely bad- astigmatism and one eye is near-sighted, one eye is far-sighted. After one eye exam, I have been hooked ever since. I trust no other Doctor with my eyesight because I know that no one will care as much as Dr. Sweeney does with my eyes. Ive been coming to his practice with my Husband for over 6 years now, and will continue to remain a loyal client for many years to come. If your looking for a Doctor who will truly take care of all of your vision needs, go see Dr. Sweeney at Insight.

I have been seeing Dr. David Sweeney for many years. I have sensitive eyes and contact lenses have always been a problem for me. Dr. Sweeney suggested that I try CRT lenses which are worn at night instead of the daytime. My vision is corrected while I sleep. Much of my discomfort with traditional lenses came from blinking and particles of dust in the air. Neither of these are a problem since these lenses are worn while sleeping. I have worn CRT lenses for many years now and I am just as excited about them as the day I first tried them. Im surprised that more people dont know about them. They are perfect for athletes, firemen, and others.
