I have been trying to get them to call in a prescription for me for over a week.! They tell me if there is a problem they will call me, yet I havent gotten one call from these people. My script has NOT been filled and now it is Friday and they are closed (convienient for them) Now I will start all over again on Monday to deal with these rediculous people. I am already searching for another doctor. Oh and the previous post about waiting 2 hrs past your appointment time is correct. Sometimes it is longer than that. Then when they take you back you site another 35 minutes to an hour if your lucky. This office needs to FIRE who they call an office manager and get a staff that knows what they are doing. I have never seen an office ran like this one. It is by far the worse doctor experience ever and I have never even gotten a chance to see Dr. Hooker they keep sending in a nurse practitioner to me as they did the person in the previous review. I DO NOT want to see a NURSE ! Please do yourself a huge favor and stay away from these people. It is so worth it to drive to a better place which I will be doing this week.

This has to be the slowest and most disorganized doctors office in the world. Forget setting up an appointment cause it doesnt make any difference. Even with an appointment you are going to sit and wait for at least 2 hours. They need to close this office down until they can figure out a more organized system. They need to learn not to be so greedy and book less appointments so that people can receive the quality care they deserve, and not have to wait 2 hours or longer. They are also very bad at keeping records straight and losing insurance information.

The nurse practitioners are much better! I have been going there for 4 years now and that is simply to see Mrs. Eaton. She is great! The receptionist are rude and overall a pain to deal with. However most of the nurses are very sweet. So despite Dr. Hooker and the horrible receptionists the office is worth the wait and I recommend Mrs. Eaton very highly!

Dr. Hooker has been my primary care physician for many years. He and his staff have been wonderful to work with and met each and every one of my medical needs. When he has had to refer me, the Doctors he has recommended have been great as well. I would recommend Dr. Hooker to anyone who is looking for a internal medicine practice in the Jasper area.

Do yourself a favor and find another practice. The office staff are very rude and they dont keep good records in regards to your illnesses/treatments. If you do go, Nurse Carr and Nurse Eaton are awesome, however again if they dont keep good records and you need good records I urge you to seek another practice.

I appreciate Dr Hooker for his understanding and for excepting me as a patient, without no Insurance of any kind and I wish to continue seeing him as long as he is around and I am in need of his experience being in the medical field. This doctor office sucks. I loved it when Nancy was here. I was in and out. Now you wait forever and are they rude upfront and could careless about you. I will be finding a new pcp asap.
