Today was our first visit. Im hard to impress, but I was IMPRESSED. Weve been through a slew of awful experiences in the past. I am "that" pet mom who records daily meds and feedings, has organized paperwork of every visit for the last several years, etc., etc. Our 7 y/o boxer girl has several health conditions including pancreatitis and IBD. Today, I noticed signs of a pancreatic flare up to which our other vet refused to work us in until later this week. I felt like I was not taken seriously.... "oh no, here is this lady calling again...." Dr Thompson not only got us in today, she took time to look through all my paperwork, and even contacted the vet who originally diagnosed her conditions to gather more info. For the first time in a long time I felt like I was looked at as a responsible - concerned pet owner, and not like a crazy lady who is a hypochondriac. It was a breath of fresh air. And, my mama instincts were right. Pancreas is inflammed. We appreciate the last minute appointment as a new patient, and are so pleased with todays visit and treatment plan. We look forward to using PCAH and Dr Thompson full time!!

My wife took our dog to see Dr Howton and she was completely condescending and talked over my wife. There was confusion over which medication our dog was currently on and when it became clear they were both talking about two different medications, Dr.Howton treated my wife as if she was lying about what we had been giving our dog. We have seen Dr Thompson numerous times and have not had complaints and use to board our dog here, but will never be back! Long story short do not see Dr Howton!!

Dr. Jen took the time with our misbehaved black labs and answered all of our questions. She truly loves what she does, and I would recommend her to anyone with pets. We make the drive from Marietta to Canton because our pups love to go see her.
