I went in with two very young kittens for their first checkup, vaccines, and deworming. The kittens were taken to the back where I could not watch what the vet was doing, began screaming for an extended period, and then came back trembling and quiet. The cats were supposedly dewormed, but they still have extremely bloated bellies. One of the cats tested slightly positive for FeLV, and, upon that test result, I was ushered out the door (after, of course, being handed a ridiculously bloated bill). The vet had no time to answer my questions about FeLV; she did, however, have time to tell me that my only option if they did have FeLV was to put them down. After some simple research, I found out that no vet who cares at all about what hes doing would recommend that. If you care at all about your pets, your money, or yourself, go somewhere else.

I will never go back to this place. My dog needed to be shaved for the summer. They insisted he be knocked out (more money for the anesthesia) and they BURNED HIS SKIN with the CLIPPERS. It took me 5 days of constant care to get his skin healed because all he wanted to do was lick the burned spots.

Sorry to see some people had bad experiences. I have worked withthree vets there and they are all wonderful. All the staff takes great care of our pets. And their pricing is comparable to our previus vet. I would strongly recommend Carroll County to anyone.
