I took my son there for an initial visit. Im a nurse so I already knew what it was and that a laser would treat it, but was told he had to be seen for a visit to set up the appointment for the laser. We went to the initial visit where the doctor came in looked at his face pushed on the little red anginoma on his cheek and told me what I already knew. We could get rid of it with a laser therapy treatment. OK we set up the laser appointment. Well in between then and our laser appointment the lady that does the laser quit so they told us that they couldnt provide the treatment for us. Then I get a bill in the mail for the initial visit, which of course is an outrageous amount, for which we got NOTHING out of! Spoke to someone in the office and was told that she would speak to the doctor about having the bill reduced considering the circumstances. Never heard a word back and when I called the second time the staff were rude, not even listening to what I was saying, and blew me off. Will be traveling out of town from now on for any dermatology needs. With all of the other negative feedback Ive heard and seen in reviews here, Im thinking probably the only reason this office is still in business is because its the only one in town. Very unfortunate for patients in need of a good, honest doctor.

My husband and I went to this Dermatologist after moving to Cartersville. Neither of us were happy with the care here. We were made to feel like we were just a number so they could file our insurance. I was not called back after they removed a spot on my face. After 3 weeks I called them and they said it was urgent for me to get back in and have more removed. If it was that urgent, then why didnt they call me. They schedule all their surgeries on Fridays. The office is filled with patients on that day to have a biopsy, surgery, or procedure done. They are not personal and the prescriptions they prescribed to both of us has not helped the skin issue which we went in for. We are now going to a different dermatologist. I would NEVER recommend this business!

First I do want to say that the doctors are good. My beef is with their appointment system. Today my son and daughter had two appointments. My son had to drive from Atlanta during rush hour which even without traffic i 45 minutes to 1 hour away. When he got there they said his appointment and my daughters were cancelled. I felt like they should have notified us and was pissed. So I called them to rationally talk to someone. I was never able to reach anyone by phone. It kept telling me that the mailbox was full and a representative would answer the call. It said this over and over and I gave up after 10 minutes. I think now I will have to call them and verify that they are going to be there.

I made an appointment for 2:30, arrived 2:15 and had no place to sit.. that is not a good sign...was still waiting to see a dr. at 4:15,...More and more people we coming in and the room was filling up with extra chairs---not one word from the staff as to what the long delay was.. after talking with other patients, I discovered this was the usual. As I left, patients were waiting outside in the hall. I did not ever see the Dr., nor will I ever call this office again. I see no excuse for treating your patients with such disrespect. You should not book more patients than you can see..

Do Not Use this Dermatologist -- I visited them one time in 2013. They said they pre-approved my insurance for a simple procedure and in 2016 I got an invoice for $318.00.....YES - Three years later!! I sent them a certified letter asking for an explanation of Benefits so I could check with my insurance company and within a few weeks I received a letter from a collection agency. They do not communicate and have a staff that is not have the knowledge they need to take care of the patients.

Dr. Harris is great but the reception staff - not so much. While Dr. Harris advised me to call and come in for same day treatment when a condition arose, the reception staff was not accommodating whatsoever and told me it would be a month before I could be seen. Definitely need to be more than just appointment schedulers to earn by business!

Dr. George was wonderful and the staff was pleasant and competent. I cant say the directions were much good though. After turning right into the hospital compound, you take the second right and then the first left to the 970 building. There is a large parking lot and plenty of handicap parking, too.

Arrived for my appointment and the office was closed. No call or anything . Two other patients arrived shortly after and were all confused as they had not been called either. I guess they wanted a long weekend! I WILL NOT be back! Not a way to conduct a business.

Never picked up their phone and this is during business hours. Avoid like the Flu, spend your money elsewhere.
