EDIT: Since posting this review, I was contacted by the (new) owner of the practice (not as a result of this review, for different reasons). Allen, the new owner, asked me about my experiences and took my feedback seriously. While it does not retroactively change what happened to me, I was pleased to hear that there are changes occurring. He is working to correct the long wait times and appointments being dropped, among other things. -------------------------- I do not know how so many people have given this location a positive review. I am honestly in shock at how terribly I was treated by this practice. I have visited this location 3 times. My first visit should have been your typical first visit - x-rays/perio/cleaning. The rest of my family uses Aspen, albeit different locations, and informed me that it was about $~15 after insurance. Awesome. I had an appointment for 2 PM, for which I received two phone calls, 2 text messages, and 2 emails as reminders in the days leading up to the appointment. I wasnt seen until about 2:30 for x-rays, but then I was put in a back room and waited TWO HOURS for someone to come in and do a perio chart. I was nothing but extremely courteous during this time because I understand unexpected things can happen and you can become very busy. After the chart was complete, they were directing me to someone to handle the finances/etc of the visit - I asked "what about cleaning my teeth?" They said they were too busy and I could come get them cleaned in a follow-up visit. Excuse me? I waited 6 weeks after making the appointment and you need me to come back at a later date? They wanted to do a "deep clean" which jacked the price up from ~$15 to ~$250 over two visits. In addition, they wanted to sell me a tooth brush I already owned for $130 (same brush is on Amazon for $80). I politely declined and was very flustered at this point after waiting mindlessly for two hours. My first follow-up visit was more routine, though it wasnt explicitly stated that I was getting the first of two parts of the so called "deep clean" which I hadnt explicitly agreed to. Because the treatment I received that day was part 1 of a two part clean, I reluctantly agreed to come back in two weeks to complete the cleaning for an additional $130 or so. I thought it was odd that I didnt receive a ton of reminders for my two week follow-up and thought "wouldnt it be funny if they forgot to enter my appointment, which we agreed upon in person, into the system?" Spoiler warning - that is exactly what happened. I returned on the time and date my card told me to, and they said they had no appointment for me - that I could wait to see if anyone didnt show or I could reschedule. Stunned, I said I wouldnt be rescheduling. I didnt make a scene or complain in the office - I had no presence of mind to do so. I have received no follow-up calls from the office to apologize or reschedule my appointment since then - not that I expected any. I can not overstate how terrible my experience has been with this practice. They do not value your time at all. Avoid. Find a different location.

Buyer Beware!!!!!! I am honestly so upset I dont know where to begin. My Grandma and Grandpa are on a fixed budget. So when my Grandfather was looking for dentures I told them to do their homework and read reviews. Now I feel like the worst Granddaughter ever!!! Being in marketing as long as I have I know how easy it is to encourage good reviews to push out the bad ones! I just hope you see the truth befor you have to go through what my grandparents have! Ill let you hear it from them. Here is third experience with this awful location. Ron started there 8/21/14, had some teeth extracted and later they made the teeth. When you look at the printouts you can see how many times we went there. He was 83 at the time of his first visit. The teeth are absolutely too big for his mouth,(he has a small mouth) he puts Fixodent on them but still cannot bite into a sandwich without them breaking loose, he has to always eat soft food. They are really ugly. They relined them to try to make them fit better, that didnt work. They would not make a new pair that would fit his mouth correctly, just kept making little adjustments to them. He spent over $3000.00 (that included the extraction fee) and basically has no teeth. A patient is only allowed so many follow-ups then have to pay for the visit. I urge anyone looking for dentures to look elsewhere. After several attempts to correct this situation with management no returned phone calls. Please beware!! I hate it when people or businesses take advantage of the elderly.

If I could rate this office at a zero I would. The office staff was not very pleasant. When I went in for first appointment, I was told after we speak with your previous dentist, we will get you scheduled for surgery. Even though my mouth was in pain, they had no regards on getting back in touch with me for my procedure. After two weeks had passed, I was just waiting to hear back to get on surgery list, and they never called. I even shared with them that my doctor had just took me off antibiotics for my teeth. I also informed them I did not have a spline, which is something that fighys off infection in our body. I expressed how important it was that I saw a doctor, because I didnt want infection to come back. After I called the office manager, she called me back into the office to finish my first initial appointment, which was two weeks later. After speaking to the manager, which was really unpleasant expeince, she had no regards that I had been waiting and my pain level. Even though my bill was extremely high...SHE NEVER OFFERED ANY TYPE OF PAYMENT OPTIONS, which after calling corporate, she was suppose to. The office never called back to apologize. The waiting time was also awful. I wouldnt recommend this office to clean my dog teeth. Bit there are other offices that would love to have your business, like the one in McDonough. Very pleasant, clean and professional.

The biggest complaint I have with Aspen is their "treatment plan" business model. Once they decide that the "deep clean" option is for you (spoiler: they will always recommend that option because theres no risk of over-treatment) they will not do a standard cleaning unless you agree to their much more expensive "recommendation." I decided that I would let the free market work its magic and take my business elsewhere. Aside from that, I spent 3 hours in an overbooked dental office for an initial screening and then a cavity filling. There was a perpetual state of confusion in the office, as to who should be doing what, where the Doctors were, etc., that resulted in about two hours of my visit being simply sitting and waiting. Repeated offers to let me watch TV suggested that this is a normal occurrence that they try to mitigate with episodes of the local news. I had no issue with their charges or work on the filling, but the timeline and the cleaning issue were a deal breaker for me.
