This is potentially dangerous place for pets! My 5 years old cat died, unexpectedly, after the visit to Peachtree Corners Animal Clinic, which is managed by the same managers as this place to the best of my knowledge. Customer care was terrible, they cared more about their image and money than understanding the loss and admitting the responsibility. The general manager never returned my phone call as was promised, and the women who spoke with me on a phone was very defensive and did not have a clue how to listen or understand the emotions of a loss. She constantly kept interrupting me and was very fake. As a professional counselor, I was shocked that an animal clinic has a staff not trained in communication and understanding of a grief. I brought my cat there, and she died two days after the visit. In my opinion, they failed to diagnose her or provide clarity about what was wrong with the animal. They just mainly told me that she is dehydrated and has diarrhea, which was already obvious. Then, they gave her the medication (which I am not sure about its quality) and told me that she will be fine in 3-4 days. Unfortunately, I trusted them. Further testing was casually offered as a next step, but not explained as important to do or to be strongly considered. On a second day my cat died unexpectedly. When I called, their communication was terrible. They avoided returning my calls for a week, were defensive, and did not offer a decent reimbursement. When I came to talk to them in person, they threatened to call a police if I do not leave. They were too concern that the other customers will hear about my experience with them. I highly recommend to avoid this place in case it is even remotely connected to Peachtree Corners Animal Clinic!

I brought my puppy here to get neutered as part of an adoption program. At the time, I specifically asked about laser surgery in regards to recovery time, Ive had 2 other dogs fixed through laser surgery with no issues, cut very clean and healed very quickly with no need of any follow-up. I was told here that theres no difference, trust us. Well thats not the case, first I noticed that the cut wasnt very clean, nor were the sutures, they told me its okay it will improve over time. About 8 weeks later, I noticed a bump where one of his sutures was, so I figured it was an infection caused by him being neutered. Just like going to any doctor, follow-up appointments should be at no cost. Good example is stitches for humans, doc says come in, will take them out for free and anything related to the procedure is free as they back their work. Not here, I was charged for an office visit and the antibiotic ointment, which I dont mind paying for the medication but the margin they charged was ridiculous, it was a generic ointment, same stuff humans get at $5-$10 they charged $30! I asked about the charge, they were firm and just said "no way knowing he would have a reaction to suture". Really? I know that but you should stand by your work and treat people how you would want to be treated. So $48 charge costed them repeat business of a dog owner of 3, shots alone per year is well over $500 not to mention heartworm medication and flea medication. Way to go, hope it was worth it lol Only reason they get 2 stars is that the office is really nice, and they work with rescue organizations. But they need some serious work on nickle and diming their clients :(

I wish I could give 10 stars because this is what this animal hospital deserves. The care, time and patience that they have had with me and my Frankie after surgery has been nothing short of phenomenal! Dr. Mize and his entire staff have become more of family , rather than just being another customer to them. I have never seen a vet invest as much time, care and patience as Dr. Mize has with my Frankie girl. His entire staff is awesome and always willing to help when we arrive. This is truly the best vet I have ever found. I drive 40 miles to get to them and they are worth it. Im so glad I found them. I would highly recommend this animal hospital!

This facility has earned my business for as long as Im local to Atlanta. EVERYONE here is awesome. They go above and beyond to insure satisfaction. They seem to truly love animals. They were even very kind hearted and sympathetic when I had to put my suddenly ill pup down. LOVE THIS VET!!!! Always willing to accommodate my appointments even if theyre last minute. Take Sunday appts too.

Awful experience. I have never been treated with more disrespect than the way Becca at the front desk acted toward me and my dog. The vets may be great, but the attitude of their staff has to change.

Cant thank Dr.Mize and staff enough for all they have done for my Ellie. If you want the best care for your pet then take them to Big Creek. This place deserves more then 5 stars.
