My 5 day old newborn baby went in for her first check up today. First of all, we had to wait for a very long time before she was seen. The entire visit lasted an hour and 45 minutes. When we finally got back to the room, it was really nasty. The bed had stuff all over the side of it. The nurse told me to undress my baby. We walked out of the room to where the scale was. The paper that they use to covered the scale was unrolling from the floor. Not in a sanitary pocket like other Doctor Offices. She told me to go back into the room. The nurse took her heart beat but she didnt wash her hands OR put gloves on before touching my baby. She then told me to leave the baby undressed and that the doctor would be in in a minute. It took her over 20 minutes to come in. My baby was undressed the whole time in a cold office. The nurse and the doctor talked about another patients medical problems in my room with us which should be private. I was really unsatisfied with the overall visit. There was a desk in the hallway from the waiting room to the rooms that was very cluttered and unprofessional looking. I hope my file wasnt on that desk. By the end of the visit I was furious and I am NEVER taking my baby back there. I will never recommend anybody else to go there.

We moved to this practice after living in Dahlonega for a year and going to a larger Pediatric practice. My only regret is that we didnt start out here sooner! Not only did BOTH of my girls love the staff and Maggie, their anxiety with regards to medical treatment vanished. As a fellow medical professional, I no longer needed to be a Mommy Doctor, but could simply be a Mom and know that every avenue of diagnosis would be considered. My childrens illnesses ranged from complicated to the traditional ear infection; however, for those which were complicated and resulted in hospitalizations, Maggie made sure to check in with us on her personal time and the office staff did as well. I have read about people having to wait - we never had to wait excessively, and I know on multiple occasions, because of the EXCELLENT medical care given, other needed to wait due to us. Again, my only regret was not beginning this practice when we first moved to Dahlonega. I would refer anyone to this practice. Maggie and her staff practice evidence-based medicine, stay abreast on latest research, and genuinely LOVE the kids and parents. I wish we could take them on our next move.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the wait time is so frustrating when you are there in a tiny office with a squirming, hungry child for an hour and a half every time. I feel that they are over scheduling patients and that they arent very well organized at times. For example, today my son had an appt at 9:00. We waited for half an hour to get into a room, another half hour before seeing someone, and then were told that they had scheduled this appt. a week too early for him to get his next set of immunizations! (Each set has to be spaced a certain amount of time in order to work properly) I was sooo frustrated by this apparent oversight on their behalf that I almost wanted to find another doctor. The only reason I stay there is that the nurse practitioner, Maggie, is very down-to-earth and knowledgeable. Overall, I am dissatisfied with this office and I am not certain whether or not the wait is actually worth it for my family.

we came here for years.. LOVED Dr. Corn is she the abslute most wonderful person I think I have ever incountered, our daughter is special needs and from the begining we only let Dr.Corn see her. When she moved out of state she suggested us find another provider and before that happened we needed a follow up appointment and could only see Maggie, not only does she not lisiten, she knew almost nothing of my child (we were there for over 5 years) my husband said abslutely no more. and before we moved offices we had to have the hearing and vision test done for school, this office knew my child was spical need and nonverbal. I asked 4 times before driving over an hour for our appoint only to be turned away "because shes nonverbal" and needed to see a spicalist.. Im very dissapointed and concerned about how this office handles patients when Dr. Corn is not there....

This is an amazing pediatric office! I feel the staff is friendly, warm and in my opinion, does everything they can to accommodate each and every patient, I feel like the providers treat and care for the family not just the patient. I switched my kids from a larger pediatric office in Gainesville to Maggie and loovvee it...we all get personalized attention. Ive called the office after hours, including weekends, and they treated me as though it wasnt a problem to interrupt their time outside of office hours. I cant recommend this pediatrics office enough. OH...as for the wait times...havent ever really had to wait longer than a few minutes either in the waiting room or to be seen by the providers. Love these guys.

We are going to change Drs, very unsatisfied with the dr. took her weeks to call me back and when we had an appointment and I asked questions reguarding my son, the response to me was" can we talk about that next time". Are you kidding me, we pay money to see this dr and I get a response like that. Not to meation we waited and hour to see her and was her first appointment of the day, and then didnt want to help us because she was in a hurry. obviously my child was not important enough to her. highly disappointed with her. The last visit I took my daughter to the office, Maggie was only concerned with money because I was self pay. Stating "she has a mortgage and a light bill". Long wait times and all you hear is her talking loudly about her personal life. Id like to take my child somewhere that puts my child first not my daughter being a dollar sign. I have told my family about this experience and we will be looking for a new pediatrician.

I recently brought my child to Dahlonega Pediatrics and it was such a wonderful experience. We love the service that we receive here and it feels great to not just be a number. Maggie and the staff are caring and helpful! Maggie takes the time to answer all of our questions and we never leave there uninformed. Overall, great experience and I would recommend this practice to anyone who wants thorough, quality care!

EXCELLENT customer service!!! The providers love the children, and they make the examinations fun for the children. The office is kid-friendly. Each exam room is well-decorated for childrens enjoyment in a home-like atmosphere. The providers ensure that each child and parent feel special and welcome. The examinations are thorough. Nicole there is impressive, caring, and awesome!

This doctor apparently over-books. I am leaving this doctor because I haveto wait a minimum of 45 minutes in the room before I ever see the doctor who only spends about 3 minutes with my daughter. If I have to check my daughter out of school, I can plan on a minimum of 3 hours before the whole process is over and she is back at school. This is consistent.
