PLEASE DONT GO HERE!!!! My husband had a chipped tooth. Why Dr. Bolden made the appointment, just for him.to come in and tell him she couldnt pull it. When we made the appointment I explained to her the issue with his tooth and he wanted it pulled. He gets there just for her snobby but to say " I only pull people teeth who comes to me for EVERYTHING!!! Are you kidding me? How inconsiderate of Dr. Bolden. She could have said that when she made appointment. We never should have went back. We have gave this women so much money between our insurance and the money we paid out of pocket. In my opinion, she looks down on people, like she think shes better than the next person. I have personally heard her speak to patients and staff ugly. Who yells at their staff why patients are present? She also gave another dental office I was working with a very hard time with my parcels. I wet else where to have my teeth pulled, because she refused. Again had use take off work just to get there and she refuse service. The dentist office that pulled my teeth had to threaten to report her. My insurance had already paid for my teeth and it took Dr. BOLDEN A WHOLE YEAR TO RELEASE MY TEETH. Thank God the other dentist office knew my rights!!! I have also noticed she has a BIG turnover when it comes to staff as well. I wouldnt refer a dog to get their teeth cleaned here. Customer service is everything!!!!

Ive been going to Dr. Bolen for over 6 years (Since 2006), and she has been really good. When I initially came to her, I had a lot of cavities and gum problems. She has helped me with an improved oral hygiene plan to overcome the regular cavities, and improve my gums. Ive been cavity free now for over 2 years thanks to her help. She helped me out and lowered the out of pocket fees during a period when I did not have dental insurance. The 15min grace period that someone else mentioned and the late reschedule fee are pretty standard in the medical/dental offices, and not a reason to give her office a negative review. I keep going back to her, because she takes care of my teeth as a dentist should do, her prices are reasonable, shes in a convenient location in downtown Decatur with parking, and I have no complaints! Thanks!

I met Dr. Bolen over 10 years ago by way of another dentist. I had an appointment with the main dentist, and the dentist was very rough handed. I did not care for her, so she sent in Dr. Bolen. What a world of difference! She was so gentle and caring. On my next appointment, I asked for Dr. Bolen again, and I learned she had left the practice. The office would not tell me where she was practicing. So, I canceled my appointment and proceeded to find Dr. Bolen. I have been a loyal patient ever since. Her office ambiance is nice. The staff is professional and Dr. Bolens care is amazing. You wont be disappointed. She truly is gentle, just as her tagline says, "Perfecting Smiles with Gentle Hands."

They truly perfect "smiles with gentle hands." I have been a patient of this office for almost 10 years and refuse to go elsewhere. Everyone is very patient, caring, and gives personalized care. Because of Dr. Bolen, I am no longer afraid of going to the dentist. I get compliments on my teeth all of the time and would refer anyone to this office without hesitation. Absolutely the best! Its very hard to find a dentist that are compassionate, flexible, and take their time with you during office visits. She has won me over without a doubt. Insurance or no insurance: I will remain a patient of Dr. Bolen.

I had a fine appt with Dr. Bolen. Things at the office went well. But, when I had to leave town and could not be a patient anymore, they withheld some of the records I needed to continue my dental treatment with another dentist, making it harder for me to take her recommendations to another office to have them done. I understand its their work product, but theres no harm to them to allow me a copy of it. Very weak customer service experience. All about the money, not the patients I guess?!?

If you are tired of going to large dentistry clinics or getting impersonal treatment, Dr. Bolens office is for you. Everyone in the office is customer focused and friendly. I have rarely had to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room or the chair. And, I have never felt like the person working with me is in a rush. Plus, they are willing to work with my anxiety about dentists. That is why I choose to pay out of pocket rather than going to an in-network dentist!!!
