Dr. Cronic is great! Takes all the time you need. BUT THE STAFF is a HORROR. They need to fire them all & start over. They are the epitome of disorganization. Call & you get put on hold forever. Last time I was there, I watched the woman at the window answer the phone, "Thank you for calling Dr. Cronic. Plz hold" and she gives NO chance for the caller to say a word. Then she went back to her COMPUTER. She didnt even have a person she was helping. You wonder if theyll ever come back to your call. When they do, they say theyre busy & thats supposed to excuse the rudeness. And while on hold, sometimes a person picks up but then realizes they picked up the wrong phone so you continue to hold. And often, you have to repeat AGAIN why youre calling!! The right hand doesnt know what the left is doing. Ask for a referral and be prepared to call several times to get it. Ask for someone to call you and its the same. People in the reception area grumble among themselves at the inefficiency. The last time I was there, I waited over an hr. The time before, over TWO HOURS. Most of the medical staff is nice. I did encounter one woman, however, who was very rude and talked down to me as if I were stupid. Dr. Cronic needs to send in some undercover people that he trusts to find out firsthand how nightmarish it is to go there, and he REALLY needs to have friends call to make appts or to try to speak with someone. Whoever handles his office staff must be a bozo and dear Dr. Cronic must be in the dark about the behavior of these ridiculous women!!!!

I was a patient of Dr. Randy Cronic for many years before he left public practice for a time. Upon learning he had returned to public practice, I set up an appointment for a physical. I was told that I would be considered a new patient. After half an hour on the phone giving all of my personal information to the receptionist, I set up an appointment for a physical (very clear on the purpose of my visit). The day before my appointment, I was called and informed that "per office policy," I could not be seen for a physical for my first visit. I would only be seen for a consultation and then would have to set up a follow up appointment for a physical. Since all employees should be aware of "office policies," I explained an exception should be made, as it was a mistake on the receptionists part. I was then passed to the "office manager," who accused me of purposefully giving an incorrect email address so I wouldnt receive the new patient paperwork and that I lied about the purpose of my visit (they claimed I wanted to establish a new provider). While I believe Dr. Cronic is a phenomenal doctor and I would love to be his patient again, its disappointing to know that his staff is so rude, accusatory, and incapable.

Love Dr Chronic to pieces, and LOVED Jim Cole... But, he is gone now. Not crazy one bit for the new PA, whatever her name is. She didnt leave a good impression on me whatsoever. Plus, she said she was going to send my prescriptions over to my pharmacy, they received ONE but none of the others. When I called, I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes, to only be disconnected by Sandra. When I called back, I started getting their voicemail and was never able to get them back on the phone. Also, I was told the practice is in a law suit because they get kick backs on the lab service they use and they wont use any other lab service, unless they send you out. I find their office is just a royal pain in the butt. The staff, other than Liz, is always very sweet to your face, but they are not dependable or professional. I believe the office manager is quite nasty as well. I heard her going off on someone the last time I was there. They just sound all kinds of confused on what they are supposed to do. This practice needs some serious help. I think its time for me to move on to another doctor. They SUCK.

I visited this practice for the first time yesterday and had a great experience. Im really not sure why other people left negative reviews. When I called to schedule my appointment the person assisting me was very nice and helpful. Upon arrival for my appointment, I was greeted warmly by the lady at the front desk and she treated me kindly. The nurse who brought me back to the room was very nice and polite. I did not see Dr. Cronic, instead I saw the nurse practitioner, Sunny Hunt. She is wonderful! She took the time to listen and speak to me without rushing, she has a great bedside manner and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this practice. I will definitely be returning.

I absolutely love Dr. Cronic he has outstanding bedside manners and is truly concern about his patients. Thats the only reason I drive from Acworth to see him. What I hate!!! The whole office staff should be replaced with robots!!!! You call and I bet my life you get a please hold by whomever answers the phone and consider yourself lucky if they come back to the phone. The staff is unprofessional and as a person who works in privacy and compliance, they could use some training on handling personal identifiable information and HIPPA guidelines for sure!!! Dr. Cronic would be better off working solo!!!!!!

Dr. Cronic is a truly great doctor who shows compassion and actually listens to what you have to say and doesnt just "diagnose for dollars" like so many other doctors do these days. I have noticed that most of, if not all of the negative reviews about Dr. Cronic pertain to his receptionist staff, who I am sure are extremely busy due to Dr. Cronics infallible reputation and the growing amount of patients trying to make appointments, etc. My conclusion: go see Dr. Cronic and make your judgments of him after he has seen you -- dont base them on the insignificant and inefficient work of others.

Great doctor. Very good bedside manner. Terrible staff. I called for an appointment and was put on hold for over 20mins only to be disconnected. I called back again and was put on hold for another 10 mins. There are a couple girls on staff that are nice but the rest are rude, and short with you, they do not explain the rules well. Ive gone for blood test twice and never have they said I cannot eat for so many hours, but when I arrive for the spot they said have eat in the last 8 hours? Love Dr Randy, very disappointed in his staff.

I love Dr. Cronic and the pa James Cole, but the staff really needs work. They never call you back with your results and then if you call the office to set an appointment you are put on hold for at least 15 minutes. I called today twice to set an appointment and was put on hold for 20 minutes and then i was hung up on. With it being friday there is no need to call back, because the office closes at noon. I really like the doctors, but the staff is hurting the practice.
