I wasnt impressed by this location. Appt was made for 8AM (first of the day), so as to keep missed work time to a minimum. Wasnt even called into room until 8:35AM and doctor didnt arrive until 8:30AM. The front desk person never communicated that the doctor was running late or anything. I spoke with Dawn, the nurse, and advised that this was unprofessional and rude to patients and there is no reason that I shouldnt have been informed of this. She agreed wholeheartedly. Wasnt seen until almost 9AM and the doctor (Dr. Clayton) never apologized for arriving late and seeing me late. Office made a follow up call about a week and a half later - to make sure I was still taking my medications and got the dermatologist referral. I said I was and I had. Office made another follow up call another week later - asking if I had seen the allergist they referred me to. I asked, what allergist, I was never referred to one, only a dermatologist? The person that made the first follow up call stated in her notes she had made an ALLERGIST referral to me (false). I asked this second caller about my blood work as I hadnt heard anything and she stated, she didnt go over this with you, her notes state she discussed your results with you. I said, absolutely not and I was appalled that this first caller lied as she did. I was given the results of my tests and was ticked off. I have had allergies to every tree, weed, grass, etc since I was a very young child. I have had the skin prick tests and blood tests - always severe reactions. I was told I was being tested for environmental allergens and they were a different group. I told the doctor I dont need to be tested for the trees/weeds, etc. because I already have and know the results. The doctor assured me I wasnt. So, I got tested needlessly and will probably be billed needlessly. I sent their offices an email and already told them I would not pay for such testing. While I have been to other ELFP locations, this one is closer to my home. Frankly, Id rather die in route to a location further away than return to this office. They are lacking in professionalism in every way imaginable. SHAMEFUL BEHAVIOR!

They took a lot longer than I thought. I gave them info before I went and I got there early like an hour earlier than expected and it took them almost 2 hours to get me back. The assistant was awesome, Dawn did things perfectly step by step. Was not expecting the vist to be so personal in the way of the questions asked, but I have not been to the doctors since I was still in pediatrics so that was understandable. The thing that had me is that Dr. Clayton took her sweet time with things and just was in no rush what so ever do see the her patients. And I felt like she was not as concerned with HIPPA due to her talking where patients could hear her talk about treatment for another patient. And that I feel like she did not hear what I had to truly say but the assistant did. Also I feel that there was no communication between doctor and staff. They were going back in forth with trying to get bits of information and trying to find if they have materials, just a little annoying.

I had a HORRIBLE experience my first visit!!! I had a condition that could have resulted in permanent damage however was told by the doctor that I should use my own judgement as IF I should go to the emergency room. Needless to say upon my own judgement I went to the emergency and had to have a blood transfusion. I vowed never to return!! I decided to go back again ONLY if another provider was available. To my amazement, Mrs. Brown a new physicians assistant was available. She was absolutely GREAT!!! Same condition with greater concern and care... I would recommend Mrs. Brown only

I would not recommend the Ellenwood location. Ive been getting an annual exam for 30 years and NEVER had to hunt down my labs results. This was my 1st and last visit. They have me on hold now for the 3rd day in a row for 20 minutes. I was told my results were in 3 days ago but the doctor has not had time to go over them. At all other doctor offices I was called by the lab nurse (in a timely manner) because of coarse doctors are very busy. Wish me luck

First time at this office (new patients). Did not see the doctor i scheduled my appointment with (Dr. Clayton) but that was ok because Dr. Brown was WONDERFUL. She explained EVERYTHING she was going to do and EVERYTHING she did as she was doing it. For me that was COMFORTING. Staff was really nice and attentive. The office is decorated nicely. I felt really comfortable visiting this office for the first time.

Doctor Clayton has a great approach to medicine. She is a real person who shares her engaging personality with everyone she meets. She is an accomplished physician who can leverage years of experience with the latest medical developments to ensure the best possible outcomes for the patient. I consider her in all respects to be my friend and my doctor.

I love this doctors office my doctors is Dr. Lee she explains everything to me very well and my nurse Ms.Tammy she can stick me with a needle anytime never hurts..lol. Im very pleased with my team here Ms. Tammy makes sure I understand EVERYTHING!!! Thank you so much for making me understand what I need to do... My. Doctor is DR.AWSOME LEE

I love the staff here! Ive been a patient of Dr. Claytons for years. Everyone from the girls up front, to the clinical staff, to Dr. Clayton herself is amazing. Theyre all friendly and so helpful. (No matter how many times I have to change my appointment) :) :) I refer people there all the time and I will continue to do so. -Nikki Brown

Medical Assistant came into room to do a strep throat swab and did not use a glove. I asked her to put on a glove, although Im sick I still dont want to be further contaminated. We as patients should be on them about entering the room to work on us without washing their hands or putting on gloves.

This office is great! The front desk ladies were very polite and helpful. The nurse assistants Shon and Tasha made me very comfortable. And Dr. Mitzi Clayton was excellent. They answered all my questions and made this whole process smooth and easy. Thank you Dr. Clayton & Staff!!!

Was thrilled to find out that Dr. Clayton had moved to the Ellenwood office as I had the pleasure of seeing her in Stockbridge but moved to Ellenwood myself. She is always very empathetic and always sure I am well taken care of before I leave.

The office is clean, professional, and the staff is courteous. My appointment was arranged and scheduled within 24hrs. I actually consulted with a Medical Doctor and was not handed off to a physicians assistant.

So far so good, my first time was pretty good...Dr. Brown is a very nice doctor, I really was more comfortable once she came in & explain more about the practice & the front desk staff was very nice as well
