Ridiculous that this place expects a family member to accompany the patient and NOT leave the building for any reason during a patients 4 hour plus surgery process. I left the building to take a business call and they took my mother of her pre surgery meds and held up her surgery until I returned to the building, even after they called my phone and I explained what I was doing. They told my mother she would have to wait because I left the property to eat. Even if I had gone to eat what difference or business is it of theirs. The number of personal trips you have to make to their office for paperwork only is also ridiculous and very uncalled for in this age of electronics. They took it upon them selves to pre order her pre and post eye drops from the company of there choice that Insutance does not cover and costs the patient over $100. They did this after being asked to hold off until the patient could contact their insurance to see what same prescriptions would be covered. Eye drops arrived by mail within 7 days of having this conversation with the staff at one if there mandatory paperwork visits. The eye drops are non refundable and non returnable. The staff was very friendly but the rules and regulations put in place by operations are again ridiculous. I would definitely chose another facility/practice to have anything done with my eyes!

My daughter and I went to this eyecare center a week apart then they called and said that she owed $10.00. My insurance told me that we didnt bc my health insurance covered it. I went back in person twice to take care of the matter and the ppl on that Saturday shift didnt know what to do. I received a bill in August on 27th for $57. Stating for data entry error fees but I didnt key in anything they need to fire that person who made the error and late fee says for the 24th which their own post date is stamped for the 25th. How Im I late if your post date is after my supposely due date? I called to get clarity, they hung up on me and when I called them right back their recording said it would be a three minute wait that was more like 25 minutes. They never answered again bc it was close for them to close at 5:00 pm like I dont know that trick. My sister told me that this happened to her also. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they made a mistake or theyre just plainly ripping ppl off. DONT GO THERE YOULL BE PAYING FOR SOME EXTRA CRAP. The ppl are nice but their billing group is either shady or inexperienced. That one star is for the nice ppl that I dealt with first.

My experience was awful for the second time. Eye appointment and the receptionist said money was due of $37 and some change. Advised no money is due everything is paid thru my insurance. She continued to say the amount was due. I called my insurance company and they verified no money due. The receptionist had a nasty attitude after I proved her wrong. I asked to speak with someone in the billing department after waiting some time no one bothered to come out. I was given the number called twice goes to voicemail and no one has even had the courtesy to pick up the phone and call me back. This place is awful and customer service stinks. I would not refer anyone to this place. I am in the process of looking for another eye care Dr. The one receptionist is so unprofessional. I also heard another lady telling her how unprofessional she was as I left. Review is not even worth 1 star.

Had an appointment for a eye exam at Clayton Eye Center, 7/13/15 The center is state of the art with eye specialist and knowledgeable friendly staff. Even though the clinic was full, didn’t have to wait long to see the doctor. My doctor was Michelle Lee, she gave a thorough eye exam and took the time to explain everything about my eye condition. Doctor Lee also provided free product samples and a holistic nutritional guide to maintain good eye health. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for eye care services.
