I have always used this clinic because the hospitals ER isnt a really an option for me without medical insurance and I want to be honest about my experience in this clinic. Most of the time I have received decent care, but it always comes with bad attitudes and sometimes racist comments (Im a brown immigrant w/o health insurance). Never once did I go in to be checked for something without being asked for identification besides my passport and that really upsets me. A passport is, in a way, the highest for of ID a person can have and the fact that they will very reluctantly accept it when I refuse to provide another type of ID ("anything from the state of GA?") is something I dont know exactly how to interpret: is it racism? Is it bad customer service? Is it both? Today I got off the phone with whoever answers for them and they were very rude when I called to follow-up on a HIPAA request my attorney had faxed them a week ago. When I explained why I was calling, I was asked for identifying information (naturally), then I was asked AGAIN why I was calling, I told them I wanted to know when my attorneys HIPAA request would be fulfilled and I was told within 48hrs, and when I asked why it had to take a phone call from me, they simply asked if there was anything else they could help me with, and I just decided to let it go. After, my attorney notified me they had also told her that the HIPAA request would be answered in 48hrs, but it has been over a week and over 6 business days, so what does it take for you to answer a HIPAA request, GMC? I seriously hope for your sake, not much. Good doctors, horrible customer service, an unpleasant experience usually.

The Family Medical Center is a one-stop destination for health concerns. They have the ability to do blood tests and take x-rays in-house. Its very convenient! I love the fact that they do not do their service via appointments. I really like the ease of being able to just walk in to the clinic without an appointment. The wait is generally short. The office staff and environment are both friendly and inviting. The staff are always courteous and respectful. Im impressed with how well they handle my health concerns and confidentiality. I would definitely recommend The Family Medical Center!

I have been going to Family Medical Center for about 10 years now. The girls at the front desk always greet me with a big smile! The doctors are always on point with my patient care. I always tell everybody to go to visit Family Medical Center for their medical needs. They also have a fabulous New You Med Spa in the same building. I have been there, I have lost 49 pounds on their weight loss program they are a very caring place and they are here to help you reach a healthier you!

We have been going there for years. Great people. I recommend calling ahead so you can find out the wait time - most times we get right in and back out without a wait. We use them for family issues as well as sending drivers for drug testing and DOT physical cards. Always excellent service!

I have visited here many times and have been given very good care and treatment. When I needed to be directed to see a Specialist they did not waste my time and money, and referred me to very capable Medical care. Im very pleased. I also appreciate being able to walk in as needed.

This is a friendly place to come to when your sick. Its very clean. Friendly staff and the doctors KNOW what is going on when you explain your symptoms. Ive been to a few doctors and finally found my home place here. I recommend Family Medical to everyone. The hours are PERFECT!

The facility is always clean and the staff is generally courteous and helpful. It is a walk-in clinic so be mindful of this when it comes to wait times. All of the medical staff Ive encountered are nice, friendly, and professional. I recommend this clinic to others.

Wait times are long in all visits Ive experienced , however, staff from front office to the doctors and all in between have been caring, friendly, helpful, and professional.... Which is what you want when youre not feeling well... I will keep going back!

The most compassionate professionals and staff. For a walk in facility, with no appointments, they make your visits as quick as possible without making you feel as though they are rushing you through. Highly recommend FMC.

Fast & friendly are normally not used in the same sentence when it comes to health care, but Family Medical Center is just that. Also my wife lost 49 lbs with Med Spa. Thats why weve been with them for over 15 years.

Very rude staff. Couldnt find my records because it would be too difficult. Didnt want to release and information to me since school paid for my shots. Lady on the phone was a miserable old hag....

A good quick in and out office. I have had x-rays done here on site to where I didnt have to go across town to the one in the hospital so it was much quicker.

Unfortunately, Google Maps has put them in the middle of Atlanta, with a Griffin address and all. Out in front of Big Lots, next to Little Ceasars Pizza.
