This used to be the only facility that I used for my familys urgent care needs. This past Sunday, I had the worst experience of my life. I have never been more disrespected by a medical facility in my life. I took my daughter in for a cough. We were at the facility for two hours and less than five of them were spent with the doctor. The doctor walked into the room and completely brushed off every concern that I had. Whats worse, she walked in with a single slip of paper that she was writing every patients info on. She said she was sending a steroid to the pharmacy for my daughter. My mom went to pick up the prescription yesterday and the pharmacy had nothing for her. I called the urgent care at 930 and was told I would get a call back, by 330 that still hadnt happened. I called again at 4. They looked at my daughters chart and the doctors notes say that she was seen for a fever and chills! How can you diagnose someone with a fever who has a normal temp?! They said that they couldnt call in a prescription because the doctors notes didnt say anything about it, so they were sending her a message and would get back to me. I still havent heard from them. If they messed up my daughters file that bad that day, how many other patients got screwed. Never again will I use this facility and I will let everyone I know that they should find care elsewhere.

Unfortunately they do not even deserve one star! This just may be the worst experience I have ever been through!! I went there at 12:30 pm after working half a day. Had been feeling extremely sick and was having trouble breathing. Even still they made me wait over 2 hours before I was seen, all the while young children were in the waiting area and I felt horrible about possibly exposing them. Finally I was seen and I was started on a breathing medicine and they were concerned about my blood oxygen levels and said that I would have to be taken to the hospital via ambulance. I refused and said that I could contact my husband to take me. When I refused to take the doctors advice they took away the nebulizer and medicine and sent in the paramedics to push me into going even though I had been waiting for 2 hours out in the waiting room and could have waited a short time longer for my husband. Now I am looking at a $750.00 bill for the ambulance which I had stated emphatically that I could not afford. Through all of this I think the biggest slap in the face was when they withdrew treatment and would not even give me the time to contact my husband to come help me. My fondest wish is that some day someone will treat them with the same careless disrespect.

Absolutely the worst "Urgent Care" in Ingham County. I have used this facility twice. Both times were because of injuries following horse events at the fairgrounds and they were the closest emergency facility around. The first time we had an arrogant doctor that talked down to me as the parent and berated me for allowing my 15 year old daughter to be involved in horses. He told her how lucky she was that her foot wasnt broken, sent her home with no pain medication or anti inflammatories, and suggested we get out of playing with horses. The second visit was three years later when my now 18 year old daughter cut her finger. Despite a bleeding wound, we waited for almost two hours before we left to find a more appropriate "Urgent" care in Okemos. The intake nurse acted bored with her job and never asked us if the wound was bleeding. We made sure to leave dripping blood out the door while a kid that was "crying" as he came in because he cut his finger was treated immediately. My daughter said, "You should have pinched me so that I would have started crying and then maybe they would have seen me sooner." Lesson leanred - you need to whine and cry to get seen at Mason.

Went to this urgent care for my daughter on a Saturday afternoon. There were several people in the waiting room. My daughter had a small skin infection, but needed to be seen before Monday and was too young to take to Sparrows Fast Care. I thought we would have to wait for a long time due to the amount of people and the lack of severity with her condition. We did not wait long at all! We were the last people to be called, but we only were in the waiting room for maybe an hour. And once we were called back it only took half an hour to have her vitals done, be examined by the doctor, and be sent on our way with a prescription. Everyone was polite and professional and the doctor was so great with my daughter. She was begging the doctor to pick her up, so the doctor held her while examining her infection. I love this urgent care and always go here!

I was very dissapointed with Mason Urgent Care. I was in and out within about 15 minutes, because I went very late at night, almost closing time. But the Doctor didnt spend more than 3 minutes with me, diagnosed me with a sinus infection and sent me out the door with a z-pak. I went to my doctor a few days later because I was feeling worse, and they said that every urgent care between September and Feburary claim any illness is a sinus infection. Come to find out, i had walking pnuemonia. I called Mason Urgent care and they said that I can come in to be re-diagnosed.... with another co-pay. Of course. Will not go there again. Will not recommend anyone go there.

This urgent care is horrible. If you have time, go to sparrow. I live in the area and have been misdiagnosed three times over the last 6 years - when Ive had to go there. Friends and family have been misdiagnosed. Just yesterday, a friends daughter was misdiagnosed with a sinus infection instead of a concussion (which is the reason I had to write this review). After the girl started forgetting her name, she was taken to sparrow where they said she had a huge bruise on her brain and was admitted into the hospital immediately. Unless you have a severe flesh wound, I wouldnt risk going here.

Took my husband in for a procedure and was very pleased with Dr. E. Smith and her assistants ~ everyone was friendly, thoughtful and right to the work at hand. I appreciate theyre attentiveness and care to my husband. They did yesterday what Allegiance in Jackson wouldnt do until mid November......my husband wasnt able to wait until then - and Mason Urgent Care Staff knew this and took care of him immediately. Thank- you !!!!

Doctors are always rude and incredibly disrespectful. Constant misdiagnosis! The most recent time they told us my daughter had "allergies", but our pediatrician confirmed it was a bacterial infection and gave us antibiotics. She treated us like we were wasting her time, but it turns out they were wasting our time by blowing us off. I highly recommend staying away from here and going somewhere that will actually give you care.
