Terrible doctor. Dr. Zack charkawi. If you just want a doctor to write a script for Adderall or other common meds then he can do that. However if you want a doctor that has time for you and to be a doctor, go somewhere else. I had my blood pressure med changed but when he went to refill it by pharmacy request, he called in the old med and not the one i had changed by him. I had him as my primary care doctor and i had a very serious health issue with my eye. The eye specialist had blood work done STAT with results to go to and Dr. Zack for him to look at review and go over results with me. When i went to my next appt with him he had not even looked at my results after like two weeks and when i asked about my results he said, "Do you know how many blood tests resullts i get faxed to me everyday?" It made me very upset that he could care less. That is not what a primary care dr should do. I would never go back to him; my health is very important to me but obviously not to him. He has too many patients to take the time and care that he should. Needless to say ive found anothet more qualified doctor. Oh and then to TOP things off and prove how terrible he is my son who is 21 had been going to dr zack for his adderall. Apparently dr zack saw my review and when i called in to confirm his appt the day of his apt. The front desk tells me his appt has been cancelled. I ask why but all they say is its just cancelled. Im sure they cancelled his apt after seeing my review. Thats SO unprofessional. It wasnt my sons review; it was mine. They left him with no apt and no adderall. Im truly thinking about taking this issue to the Board. Doctors cant descriminate based on a family members free speech. Terrible terrible and shame on you Dr Zack.

I have been coming to Dr. Zach for over 2 years now since my husband and I relocated to Johns Creek. I am thrilled with the care I receive from Dr. Zach. He takes his time to understand my concerns and carefully explains treatment options to me. He has been able to diagnose many problems I have had early and very accurately. He involves me in my care plan insuring I am thoroughly committed. Other positives are that his front office staff is very efficient and the nurses are awesome (Yvette is a favorite!). I can honestly say I am happier now than I have been in years with the medical care I am receiving from Dr. Zach. And it doesnt hurt that hes very personable and has a great sense of style as well :). Only negative is that I am not happy with the new policy of $35 apt cancellation fee. As a busy professional there may be times when I am called into a last minute critical meeting (like a few weeks ago) or I have an urgent family matter come up and have to make a phone call and cancel on the same day (6 hours notice in the example I am giving). I asked for an exception but sadly it was not granted. I think there needs to be some flexibility on this policy. Come on Dr. Zach - I say give a 1 time hall pass to your clients at least :).

My sons pediatrician referred us to this place when his rash on his penis wouldnt go away. Our first visit was awful. We waited for an hour just to get into a room to wait another half hour. When the doctor finally decided to grace us with her presence, she told us it was irritated and prescribed some cream. No difference at all. After a few months of trying to control it myself, I brought him back. She did some cultures and prescribed an antibacterial cream. She would get back to us with the culture results. Guess what it actually is...MRSA! I had to call back with my sons weight so they could call in a prescription. I did this 2.5 days ago. Still no prescription and Im now out of the cream. It is my understanding that you must aggressively treat this and if you miss a dose, the infection becomes stronger. I have his pediatrician trying to get info from them to call something in with no luck so far. The fact that this place could be so disregarding of a child of 7 years old with an MRSA infection on his PENIS makes me sick. Weather they accidentally overlooked or misplaced info is irrelevant. Maybe they are good for acne problems or fixing your wrinkles, but not for real medical emergencies.

Simply put find somewhere else to go. I came here on several occasions to get my 3 year old son seen and the Dr. never got to the root cause she just kept prescribing cream after cream and still nothing. I just gave up and hope that his skin cleared up on its own. Long wait time while youre in office and the staff isnt friendly, barely smiles nor look up from their computers. Have a seat, gimme your card someone will call you. Months later I brought my husband in for a boil on his face to get lanced the appointment took 2 hours for a 20-30 min procedure. They ended up charging us 50% of the service even though our insurance pays 80/20. Once again very bland & dry front desk staff, the doctor speaks to the nurses very blunt & rude so I can see why they arent the most upbeat and friendly. Moving forward we are looking for another dermatologist that hopefully has friendly staff, that calls your insurance prior to your visit so everything is organized bill wise when you arrive, has shorter wait time, a doctor who cares about her patients and most of all one who has better reviews. Dont go here people keep searching.

I have been a patient of Dr. Timani for several years. I like her a lot and think she has done a very good job. However, I have been forced to seek out a new dermatologist because of some of her policies, which I did not particularly want to do. She will only do so many full body mole checks a week, and every time I try to schedule one I am told I cannot be checked for many months (at least 4 or 5). My schedule is very busy, there is no way I can make an appointment that far in advance. Nor do I feel I should have to. Even if Im already coming in for other skincare reasons (it isnt difficult to get an appointment a week or two out), Ive been told the most she can do is check a couple moles that are suspicious, not do a full body check, even though it takes almost no time. This seems outrageous to me. Why should I have to pay for two appointments, and meanwhile I have not had my moles checked in a very long time - partially my own fault because Ive resisted having to find a new dermatologist. I need treatment for my acne, but I also need my moles checked and I need a dermatologist willing to do both.
