THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I visited my insurance companys website and saw this place listed, I checked Smart Primary Cares website and they claimed to accept my insurance. I go to the office & the receptionist confirms this insurance is accepted. I visited Family Practice Clinic in March 2015 under my insurance but STILL received bills for my visit because my services have been "filed under the wrong code". It should have been sent directly to my insurance but the bills kept coming to me ! The people who work at the billing office do not know how to properly process these claims. For many weeks, I spent my lunch breaks calling, both my insurance and SPCs billing office to try and gain some clarity. SPC billing employees always say the situation is out of their hands & that it must be handled by the manager, whom was never around to take my calls. These unprofessional people at SPC caused me so much frustration that I have actually cried from dealing with this. Finally, after countless amount of headaches and from both my husband & myself calling, SPC confirmed they finally figured out how to bill my insurance correctly. Months later, I am receiving a bill from debt collectors!!! What in the world? This makes no sense to me and is a sorry-excuse of a clinic!! I have screenshots of both websites claiming they have a partnership. I am calling my phone company Monday to get records of the countless phone calls I have had with Smart Primary Care. SAVE YOURSELF THE MISERY AND DO NOT DEAL WITH SMART PRIMARY CARE **Update: I read the below comments & see quite a few others have experienced similar situations with this company-- they need to learn how to bill insurance companies correctly!!!!

Been going here for 28 years (my whole life). As of today I will no longer be going to this rinky-dink, MONEY grubbing establishment. The facilities have not been upgraded since I have been going there as a small child. Schedule an appt... and expect to be seen 45min to 1hour after that appointment time. Pretty much their standard for the last 5+ years. After your wait, Dr. Smith or Dr. Petrey will spend all of 10min attending to your needs. Express concern or dissatisfaction over their proposed treatment, prescriptions, etc. and they will ignore you. If you come to them with legitimate problems they are not afraid to brush them off and not directly address your needs. When push comes to shove... they will just whip out the pad and pen and start writing you 3 unnecessary prescriptions for something as simple as a cough (none of which will be helpful). Shuffle you out of there... CLEARLY their time is more important/valuable than yours... and pay the piper at the door. This is pretty damn pathetic given I have literally... L I T E R A L L Y come here from birth until age 28... and seen the same Dr the whole time... and I am willing to walk away. Save yourself some time and trust my experience: ANYWHERE is better than here.

Called the office, my chid fainted, front desk told me they were full but I could come and sit there to see if they can squeeze her in. I chose to go to a different dr and was immediately sent to the ER. Called the office after the weekend to see if they can suggest a neurologist for my childs follow up after her fainting incident, I was told I need to come in pay for a visit and then I could be referred, when I explained that I am a cash patient and do need a referral but merely want a suggestion on where to take my child, the african lady at the front desk told me she couldnt help unless I came in for a appointment. The building dates back to the early 1970s not clean and the front office staff is abnoxiuosly unfriendly, once you get through to the Dr. or her nurse practitioner things are good, the dr is good and considerate and answers questions and addresses your concerns, however the front office staff is atrocious and rude, and gossips about patients thinking that since they have a glass window, nobody can hear them.I have chosen to take my children somewhere else along with me and my husband, I find the staff under educated in people skills and very crude.

I have gone there a couple of times. The doctors arent bad. I like Kyle and I believe hes a PA. The office isnt pretty and usually smells like crap and looks dirty. The worst part is the billing. Everyone is clueless. I have been trying to set up a payment plan since I owe a couple of hundred dollars and I dont want it to go to collections but they dont seem to care at all. Every time I call the billing number they tell me they cant set it up and when I call the office they tell me they dont know how and they will call me back with more info. I have tried calling them on 3 different occasions and they have never returned my call. They never know anything and are no help. Its ridiculous! Do not go there unless you have the money to pay in full or dont care about your credit and paying your debts. They dont care about you and wont take the time to help. UPDATED 03/07/2016: I recently went back and everyone was much nicer. The office has improved significantly. I am not 100% sure whether billing is better because I only call to make payments. There has definitely been an improvement. I just want to make it clear that the doctors are not the issue.

Ive been at this office well before it was Smart Primary Care. Since the change, there has been a terribly high turnover rate. I see a different face every few months. Majority of the staff is rather rude and seem to lack the skill set needed for their position. To be honest, Lethia(?) is the only front office person that ever seems knowledgeable and competent in the admin side of things. Dr. Krishnaveni Ayyagari has to be one of the most rude and impersonal medical professionals Ive EVER encountered. Why do I stay? Because I love the rapport and energy I have with Tawanna (nurse) and Jodi Vann (doctor). Tawanna is AMAZING! She is always smiling. Each time I see her she asks about my kids, professional life and genuinely takes an interest in her patients. Dr. Vann is just... sweet. Shes very informative and always makes sure I leave the office educated on whatever diagnosis she gives! So..... Is this review to tell you to go to this office...ehhh.... Im just telling you my doctor and nurse are awesome!

Doctor Smith is an excellent doctor!!!!! I have been going there since 2006. I have never been late or carried a balance on my account until recently. The major problem is with the unprofessional manner in which the office handles billing. Either they are lazy and lack motivation in doing a good job or they lack the skills required in assisting patients with billing. My balance of $5 was sent to a collection agency. I was given 1 notice in the mail and that was it. I forgot and the next thing I knew I was paying $30 dollars to a collection agency. Another reminder or phone call would have been appropriate like most professional billing people do. This indecent act was cruel and a little heavy handed for just $5. A phone call would have been more appropriate for $5. Oh but this would require getting up off your butt. Dr. Smith’s office seems to have abandoned their billing to a greedy unscrupulous third party agency. They need to be more involved in the billing of the patients they treat!
