Had an appointment with Dr.Abbasi on 6/14/17 my first visit with him because PA Holloway who Ive seen before was unavailable. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME !!! This so called doctor initially sends in his new female PA for assessment purposes I assume she was friendly but clearly useless. Claimed shed explain my complicated situation to the "doctor" after having me go through the whole entire 2 month long story regarding my issues and why I was there to see him, she did absolutely nothing. He comes in expecting apparently to right me a prescription and send me on my way which is obviously his only limited ability NOT diagnosing anything beyond basic hypertension etc. He flat out refused to treat or assist me and simply stated "I dont know I cant help you " offering to refund my money after I called him out on the fact he didnt even try or put fourth any effort what so ever. Hadnt spoken to the female PA , hadnt checked my records from my multiple ER visits or hospital admissions and refused to do so, wouldnt listen to me attempting to provide information from those incidents and how Id been instructed to follow up with him . IT WAS SO COMPLETELY ABSURD I couldnt believe it was happening. Finally he just walked out and had the front desk void my payment for a refund. The worst experience with a medical professional in my life which Ive had a few lately...and Im a nurse !!!!!! If this is how Georgia cares for the sick back to Chicago I go quickly , I wont survive if I dont.

I had PA Holloway and was very happy until I talked to him about the issues with my weight. (I was interested in adipex.) Rather than just telling me because I was already getting adderall I couldnt get it, he gave me a lecture about why I was basically not doing enough to lose weight. (I travel for a living and have a toddler.) He encouraged me to just buy lean cuisine meals but when I pointed out that my BP was already too high, he said I was making excuses. I switched to another office and 1.) the first thing she did was switch my BP meds. Also, she looked at my insurance to find me help with weight loss. When I realized that switching my BP to another medication (that was free at publix) immediately helped my BP, I realized I wasnt being listened to here. My BP is an issue and I think he should have done something with my meds when I pointed out how high it was. (And the fact that it was so easy to change). Then he was judging me and not even trying to help me when I really needed help. I know hes a nice person but you really need to listen to your clients. (And they NEVER sent me the bloodwork after my physical.) Apparently they were supposed to tell me the results which is ridiculous. The only upside is that when its after hours, they usually dont have a long wait.

Charles W. Holloway, PA-C is incompetent, he refused to provide medication which was being taken for the past 20 plus years to treat an ailment. The initial side effect from being taken off of this medication cold turkey is seizures. Needless to say, a week later I was spending the day (8 hours) in the emergency room due to succumbing to a seizure. Fortunately the illness was not something that I required treatment for, but my fiancée. Dr. Holloway would not listen to her as a patient and treated her as if she were an addict. She having a number of degrees within the medical field herself comes from a family in which her father was a Neurosurgeon and her mother being a nurse so this isn’t as if she had no knowledge of what she was talking about. Giving this place a score of one is still far more than they deserve.

Front desk workers are very rude. Several times I have been ignored or received an attitude from several workers up there. Dr. Holloway prescribed some medication for me that I had no business being on. Went in again a few weeks latwe due to some problems I was having that I believed was because of the new medication. After a THREE hour wait. He came in the room angry. Snapped at me and told me my problems were all psychosomatic. He made me feel embarrassed and too intimidated to return. After receiving a second opinion, I was made aware that the prescribed medicine he gave me was not what I needed. I was also told that my previous issues were NOT psychosomatic but due to the medication he placed me on and told me to continue. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. Abbasi is truly one of the few doctors left that is in the business of healing, because he truly cares about humanity! There arent many of him left! He takes the time to listen and to find solutions. (Maybe this is why there is a wait at times.) no one who is sick wants to be rushed out the door by a doctor who is only interested in the next office fee! Dr. Abbasi is also very "up" on the latest in his field, because he loves what he does and loves people. He took excellent care of my sweet Uncle, and he has taken excellent care of my family and me. We are so fortunate to have him. You can trust him with your life. I have also found the office staff to be very friendly, which is wonderful when you feel at your worst.

I have been going to this office for about 10 years and Chuck is an amazing Dr. He truly listens and cares about his patients. He is kind, considerate, and has insight to know who is trying to abuse the medical system. Just because a doctor doesnt give you what you dont need, doesnt mean he is mean. It is called professionalism and maybe saving a life. Chuck cares about others and is very compassionate toward his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Be glad there is still Drs out there that cares about your well being. Would not change Drs and they dont take my insurance but sticking with a Dr who cares.

Im am beside myself how I was treated my last visit. Charles Holloway is an awful man that needs to be retrained in customer service. He does not know how to talk to adults and treats people as if theyre beneath him. My sons and I had been going to this office for years and we always made sure to see Dr. Abassi so that we didnt have to deal with the horrible treatment from Chuck as of this past Wednesday we are no longer patients there. I recommend Dr Abassi who is a very compassionate understanding doctor. Its a shame that he well be losing lots of patients because of Chuck.

From the moment you enter this office, you are cared for by the staff. Ive been seeing as Charles Holloway as my Primary Care Provider for 5 years and I greatly appreciate the level of professionalism, care, and kindness from him and Dr. Abbasi and his entire staff. Charles always takes the time to listen and understand my health concerns, answer all my questions, and provide me with the best course of action. He spends more than the appropriate amount of time with me to make sure that all of my needs have been met. I HIGHLY recommend this office and Charles Holloway!
