Everyone is allowed their opinion, this is fully understood. I am somewhat concerned by the review left by Hastings. My children have been a part of this practice since 1996! We have seen Dr. Moore and her constituents. This is by far the best Pediatric practice. My oldest child was seen by her when she was 18 months old. She had Sickle Cell and was ALWAYS cared for in a professional and loving manner. Dr. Moore and her staff took care of Haleigh to her last days. I have the utmost respect for Cumberland Pediatrics. They ALWAYS made concessions to see us. My youngest child is now 11 and has been seeing Dr. Moore since birth. My hat is off to this practice. They are not going to satisfy EVERYONE, but they will do their jobs and do it well! KUDOS Cumberland Pediatrics! They havent been around this long for no reason. To address the issue of "do not leave dirty diapers in the trash receptacles," what is common sense to you and I is not so much for others. I have witnessed the staff picking up dirty diapers in the parking lot to keep the grounds clean. So what is wrong with asking a parent/guardian to be responsible for the waste of their child. I would never leave a stinky diaper in a doctors office, thats just nasty! It was mentioned that this parent worked for Pediatricans before, why did you not see one of them. Maybe your idea of "natural path" is not really accepted to its true meaning. "NATUROPATHY" is definded as a form of alternative medicine employing a wide array of "natural" treatments, including homeopathy, herbalism, and acupuncture, as well as diet and lifestyle counseling. Naturopathic medicine is replete with pseudosicintific, ineffective, unethical, and possible dangerous practices." Cumberland Peds was not the practice for you because they CARE, which may involve a needle stick or two! I am deeply offended by the comments and wish to convey this to anyone who is looking for an EXCELLENT practice.

Wonderful staff. Speedy service. The doctors are very intelligent, very thorough, and will get your child better. They also do followup calls, which is very touching since the facility demographic and population is so large. My only complaint is that their billing company? Will bill for wayyyy more things then a regular office visit should. I think theyre used to only billing for medicaid clients. I have a high deductible insurance coverage. I also work for my insurance company. My insurance company informed me that legally, the provider couldnt bill some things that they tried to bill together. Instead of going back to rectify the claim mistake, the PCP billed me 400.00 (what the insurance company didnt pay). When this happens, the insurance company can send out a balance billing letter, to let them know theyre not upholding their end of their PCP insurance contractual agreement. Plus, Quick asthma office visits and by quick I mean under an hour, arent supposed to be 300.00. Ive worked in claims and benefits for many years, that is a ridiculous PCP total charge (My insurance company finally covered it once they updated some information). Majority high deductible insurance costs for office visits should only be around 130ish as an out of pocket. I might as well have went to a hospital with that charge, and had my insurance pay the hospital directly with less billing issues and headache. This is the third time this has happened. Ironically, its the third time weve seen the provider. If you use any medical benefits company besides medicaid, you definitely want to double check your insurance company billing before paying this provider directly.

Long wait times!! Yes, even if you have an appointment the wait time is still an hour plus just to be placed in a room. After which there is at least another 30 minute wait before the Physician or NP to come in to address your child’s needs. Unfortunately, the service is this bad if you show up at 8am or 3pm. The issue is even is you need a follow up or shots, be prepared to be off a have a day if you have an appointment here. The office has a sign up stating they are on kids time. Why not set one hour appointments for each child, so children aren’t in the waiting room coughing on each other, and fighting over the one toy they provide in each waiting area?

After 7 months I cant take this place anymore. I tried but every visit is just a 30min to hr wait just to be moved to another room for more waiting. They are way over booked and do not have the staff on hand to take care of the patients they have. When you do finally see someone they just rush in and out. Which would make one question why it takes so long to see them in the first place. I have an appointment at 3:45 not 4:45 but thats how long you will sit no matter when your appointment is. If you are so over booked why not call and let people know you are running behind and not just let people sit in a room wondering what the hell is going on. Horrible place.

Been going for a year now and Ive never seen the actual dr, even for my daughters wellness visit. They never call to remind you about your appointment. One of the nurses gave my daughter a shot and it was horrible , it looked like she didnt know what she was doing. The needle was half way in and struggle to push the other half in. They seem like they dont care about their patients. I took my daughter for sick visit and the dr just came in with a paper saying follow these instruction and the were in Spanish, umm just because I look Hispanic doesnt mean I am... I kept asking questions to the dr and all he kept telling me was follow the instructions.

Any one that say they are the best is not telling the truth, the management need to replace all their front end staff, they dont seem to want you there, they deal with you as nobody, sometimes I feel like slapping some of them in the face with their nasty attitude. Dr mason and willson are both cool but that man that call himself a doctor need to go and rest and put his practice under his pillow. To be honest with you, he does not love kids, his attitude is unfriendly. I have told my wife several times to change if not because of the location to my business. we will definitely change with time.

FIRST IMPRESSION: My first visit The front staff appeared withdrawn. Not really sure how to take them. Not very welcoming, there for a paycheck maybe. The nurse (or medical assistant) who took us back was friendly enough. Seems like he was uncomfortable but he did update us appropriately. The NP was probably the best thing about the whole visit. She gives you good advice and tries to expedite your visit. The appearance of the building was nice. Its clean, just a old building that was re-purposed for a pediatric office. Last, the overall visit time was an hour. (Fair)

Dr Alice Wilson has been my eleven year old sons pediatrician since he was two years old. He is a fragile cardiac patient and Dr Wilson has been instrumental in his recovery after each surgery. Now she sees both of my sons and frankly, I have moved from Kennesaw to Sandy Springs and now to DeKalb and I still make that drive to take them to her for anything they need. If you are so impatient that you cant wait at a busy doctors office for your child to have quality care, then go elsewhere, but the quality of care will not be the same.
