The staff here has always been so kind. Ive been coming off and on for about 10 years. (Not particularly this location, but the others, as I dont believe the McDonough one has been there for ten years, now that Dr, Popo-James is back, Im happy to come from Locust Grove. Dr. Popo-James takes her time with you, listens and doesnt make you feel uncomfortable about telling her anything. (She also has an infectious smile!) I also love the nurses! They make me laugh and like Dr. Popo-James, they make me feel at ease. Same goes for Dr. Imes, but I dont see him as often. (Only because I have been seeing Popo James longer and we have more of a connection. Oh, and you get back to the room fairly quickly. They are now using a tablet type of device to get you checked in and you can also pay in it. It saves time. I wish there was a button that says there have been no changes since the last visit. That could save at least 10 minutes. Overall, great practice!

The doctors and overall staff are really good but the billing department is horrible. No customer service whatsoever, they refused to re-bill the insurance with corrections. My insurance has $0 co-pay for the yearly check up and they charged a doctor visit on top of so I have to pay my $40 co-pay. The insurance paid them for that visit $843 + $40 that I owe in copay. IT IS RIDICULOUS!!! If it wasnt for the great doctors a d that is an all. Inclusive center (X-rays, Labs, some specialized treatments, etc.) I will definitely consider finding another doctor. Lately I felt they are taking advantage of your health to blll more to the insurance company.

Unfortunately I had to use fam med due to being under the weather. But luckily thats why they are there. This was the first time for me, but have used for my kid in the past. So lets get to it. The service is really good. Front desk staff was professional. Nurse staff was informative and also very good. (They took blood, gave shot and xrays). I really didnt feel a thing. The doc, well she took her time with me. Really trying to get the correct diagnosis. She spent a while with me even though they were busy. In all, I was happy with the whole experience of fam med. I would use them again and recommend them for you. Thanks family medical.

This is perhaps the best experience weve had in our life. Our child has asthma, and on the way to Florida (we live in Chicago and never been to this city or medical center before) he stopped breathing properly. So we google up the closest location to where we were at, and this location came out. No appointment was necessarily, and staff was VERY professional and nice, and their prices were very affordable, especially for us who had no insurance coverage. I wish we would have more of those professionals in the USA and the level of service they provide.Thanks a lot, Doctor Sanchez! Alex is feeling much better now.

I had gone to Eagles Landing Family practice on Rock Quarry Rd in Stockbridge. My experiences were never positive. The front office staff were unfriendly & uncaring. The wait to see the Doc was extremely long. The Doctors were nice & professional which was the only plus. Im so grateful to have found Family Medical in McDonough. Dr Reed is my physician, hes wonderful. The staff is very friendly & professional. The drive is 20 miles versus 2.5, but its well worth it. I recommend them to my family & all my friends, and will continue to do so.

The service from the doctors are awesome but when it comes to billing their billing manager is very unprofessional. They billed incorrectly and she refused to resubmit. They also make you return to fill out your BMI papers on a separate day rather then do everything when you go to do your annual physical the. They want to charge you an office visit. I have to get my insurance involved unnecessary, if they would bill correctly I wouldnt have to go through this headache. Be aware of your billing statement.

As a mom of three young children Ive learned to expect the unexpected and its nice to know that FMC is always there to provide excellent professional care! This clinic goes above and beyond for all their patients with excellent immediate care to follow up calls to check how we are doing. I have been going to FM for several years now and the staff and doctors, PAs EMTs are great. This office has been able to diagnose several things that a hospital doctor misdiagnosed, once going to a specialist to verify. You may have to wait, but remember someone may be struggling to breathe or have a cut that needs immediate attention. Its not their intention to "be slow" as I read in some comments. Its not Burger King!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Most unprofessional place ever. Doctors are not competent. All the staff is rude, demeaning and insulting. I have never been treated so horribly at a doctors office. After discussions with the manager of how I was treated and the lack of medical treatment I got they kept my money. They are crocs!! I cat stress enough to find a different place to go to!!

This place use to be open until 8 pm now they close at 4 pm even though there hours posted on Google here says 8pm and when you call their recording say Monday-Wednesday until 4pm Thursday & Friday until 5 pm. They have gotten real slow and never never open long enough. They havent gotten any busier either. Im tired of them.

Family Medical Clinic of McDonough has a group of doctors and nurses that truly care about their patience. I have always felt like they treat me like they would treat their own family. I do think they need to work on their front office to see if they can improve on their people skills.

The clerical staff is great. The Dr (one Doctor for entire practice) Slash "NOT QUITE A DR. I.E. PA IAMES might just hurt you with their brand of "care" Google PA IAMES its a shame a young girl died due to his "care".

The group of doctors here are great! My only complaint is that I was charged over $200 just for a new patient fee. I am a 19 year old college student and definitely cannot afford the $350 bill they sent me.
