Westbury McDonough **HORRIBLE**.. Awful employees. Neglectful, smart mouthed,EYE ROLLING, substandard, so called "CNAs"SAD THAT THE PLACE IS CLEAN IT WOULD BE A GOOD PLACE IF THEY HAD A GOOD STAFF!!!! Unfortunately my father had to stay here for a few weeks. He isnt a resident. Unfortunately he has to go to a nursing home in between treatment at SHEPHERD.. It took an HOUR to have him changed!! After several request by me! On more than one day It took an hour after lunch to get him out of his wheelchair and into his bed. They make this mistake with us.. My father was a fit, in shape man until a car accident in June made him a paraplegic. He, his wife and I do not sit back and do nothing, listening to their BS. We make sure that they do their jobs and it makes them very angry when we do!! . Meanwhile i see tons of them talking laughing etc... The so call physical therapist put him on a workout machine and LEFT THE ROOM for 15 minutes!!!!! During PT they just sit patients on some machine or simple task and TALK about personal lives, laugh etc...Dad said that they were loud and obnoxious.. NEVER actually helping the patients! Last night my father had to be taken to a hospital with a 102 fever . The staff at the hospital were shocked to see a "FILTHY" catheter that had not been changed in a while! He had horrible pressure sores that were neatly wrapped /hidden as if they had been cared forI NEVER saw a nurse the entire week that I stayed with him everyday! They only hire staff with some certification ". He has a serious infection.. He has serious rashes where he has not been properly changed . He wound up having SEPSIS!! Sepsis KILLS!! Westbury is so convenient to home. I hate that we cannot go there in between SHEPHERD SPINAL. The best in the nation

This does not even deserve the one star but it is the only way to rate it! They state they are a four star when they should not be even open. The food is horrible, nurses taking the patients medications, the cnas are trifling, the unit manages especially Ms.Smith are liars,the supervising is horrible as well as liars. After this review Jesus has put on me to contact higher sources for this mockery of a care home.Its awful and needs to be closed.

Myself and my family only have high praise the staff at Westbury... My beloved husband Clifford Scott was given outstanding care... Id like to thank each and everyone that was involved in his care. He was treated with respect and dignity as was myself, family and visitors... Thank You!!

I know a resident at Westbury. Mr. Mauldin is well taken care of and Happy. If he is happy, I am happy. Thanking staff at Westbury for all they do !
