First time I came was great. I had Lavender and Erica and they were professional and quick. Last several times it has been a nightmare! They dont take walk ins , contrary to their Facebook and website advertisement. (Yes because I always plan when Im going to be sick and make an appt in advance.) The front desk is horrible about answering the phones. And , God forbid you have insurance that requires a referral for everything. They cannot keep the same Dr. ! Every time I need a referral , I have to call tricare and have the PCM whose name is on file changed ,because that Dr. has quit or no longer works there. If you have anything more serious than a sniffle , dont even bother calling , they dont have the equipment to see you , and neither does urgent care which is who they will refer you to. So the only other option is the emergency room , and a 8 hr minimum wait.I was seen last week at my insistence , and then after being told again that they dont take walk ins , she informed me I could be seen in 15 minutes. Ummm.... ok! Great . Two shots and I was hurried out the door. I was sick all weekend with no improvement. Tried calling this morning to see if maybe they could call in a RX and was on loop recording for 30 minutes! Left work and drove here, and am still waiting for them to approve nasal spray. I will be finding a new PCM as soon as possible. Save yourself time and frustration and find a reputable office with personnel who actually care about their jobs.

I have been going to the McDonough location for years, I really liked Dr. Modi and NP Christina. However, I just went back for the first time after major staff changes and it is no longer a good office. The wait time before I even got called back was 45 minutes after my appointment time. The time spent getting a quick look over and some lab specimens taken was an hour and the NP who was the overseeing medical professional did not take time to discuss lab reporting procedures, expected time of results, nothing. I had to call the office to leave a message to have her call back and speak to me, which was not done until the next day. I was told that it would be days for results that I used to get a much more definitive answer on from the staff before I even left my appointment, now they will not give any advice and tell you to simply wait the few days before they will prescribe treatment, no treating the symptoms. Lastly, the staff always congregates at the desk in the back and speaks loudly about cases, no names are mentioned, but it seems like there is a sense of unprofessionalism and lack of privacy. You can hear them as you move around the area going from scale to exam room to restroom to lab draw, etc. If you are in one of the nearby exam rooms you can hear them talking the whole time while you wait to be seen.

Per our health insurance requirements, we made appointments for a physical. We were very clear that we needed to have the results before the end of the month to turn in to insurance, and were told that was no problem. During the physical, I was told I needed a stress test. They scheduled it and said the dr would not be in that day (I was a little concerned about doing that test without the dr in the building, but I needed it done). A week later, I get a msg that they needed to cancel my apt/test because the dr was not in. (They knew that when they scheduled it in the first place). Then I get an apt reminder (for the apt that they called me & cancelled) for lab results (which was the main thing we needed for ins). I called that morning (today) and was told that the dr is not in, and they cannot give me that information. So after being clear up front that we needed that information by the 29th, they are refusing to give me my results telling me the dr needs to "review" them first (it isnt going to change the numbers) and he wont be back for another 6 days. Unacceptable. Ive already waited 8 days, now another 6?? They just cost me $600 by not having the numbers to my insurance by today. Not to mention that one of the labs was to check for a serious food allergy. Very unprofessional. Worst office ever.

Horrible. You will be billed for office visits already paid by card. Even though they could easily look this up on their daily payment sheet, you still have to email a receipt to prove your payment. They will THROW AWAY YOUR LAB SPECIMEN. They have no problem charging for it though. They will not give a list of charges for a date of service. Front desk says "we dont do that". And the patient portal is a joke. No response when asking for a list of charges. This is because you are over billed for lab services. The staff is unprofessional. You wouldnt know this just by looking at the place. Cute IKEA decor only goes but so far though. Long wait times are a given because they are checking their facebooks or talking. It is not because there are lots of cars in the parking lot. Dont go here for a diagnosis or treatment. And especially dont go here if trying to find a root cause for symptoms. They just dont know. They will pretend they know so that you will keep spending hundreds on lab work and making future appointments. Unorganized. Space cadets. Cant believe I wasted my time here.

Came here thinking I finally needed to be put on high blood pressure medicine after fighting it for a few years. I also had a low grade temp and upset stomach. Erica Payne thoroughly checked everything out, blood work, ekg etc. to make sure I was healthy. I feel that she went over and beyond to rule everything out. Her goal wasnt to medicate me but to look at the root source of the problem which seemed to be a bad (healthy) diet that my body wasnt agreeing with. Charlene her nurse was there by my side, calming me down as I have white coat syndrome the whole time. The bedside manner of both Erica and Charlene are impressive. Erica called me personally herself to let me know my bloodwork came back ok. Actually called me herself!! I will recommend them to any and all and continue to see them. Thank you for such good care.

Over the years, I’ve found that theres more to choosing a family doctor than insurance plans and office hours. I immediately felt welcome at the LiveOn Center by all staff I encountered. Dr. Modi was attentive and compassionate. We discussed my concerns, along with his, and we will be taking a proactive approach to my complete well-being. The LiveOn Center is so much more than the usual family practices I’ve visited, and I’m excited that I found it! I recommend the LiveOn experience to anyone interested in increasing their quality and length of life.

I have been going to this doctors office for over a year now, since we moved to McDonough and this staff is awesome. I had a walk in appointment today and the Doctor and staff did everything to ensure I was seen in a timely manner. Even though they had to squeeze me in, they made me feel as if I was their only patient and made sure I was taken care of in the most professional manner. Good job McDonough LiveOn Medical team, I appreciate the extra effort.
