Excellent and Professional service for everybody in the family. I have been a patient for a couple of years and about 6 months ago my husband and my 5 years old went for an eye exam. My personal experience could not have been better. I prefer Dr. Brenda Ramos Werner because my native language is Spanish. And she is fully bilingual Spanish/English. She is extremely professional, kind, caring and human. I am taking a medication that may put at risk my vision. She makes sure everything is ok performing as many tests as necessary until she is satisfied I am doing well. I feel confident that under her care nothing will happen to my vision and if there is an negative side effect they will catch it on time. Dr. Ramos-Werner is an attention to detail doctor and she actually performs many of the exams herself. I have recommended her to other family members and everybody have been delighted with their services. For example, about 6 months ago my husband and 5 years old child went for an eye exam and their experiences were also excellent. Dr. Brenda Ramos was superb with my 5 years old boy gaining his trust immediately and making the experience a wonderful one, including a trip to the treasure box for a reward for good behavior. This is a state of the art facility, made with very good taste and neat / clean place. They have reasonable prices and options for the patient. From just getting the prescription information to get non expensive reading glasses all the way to get fancy and/or designer eyeglasses and sunglasses. They have an awesome variety of options right there for you to look and try them on. Finally, I have had the opportunity to be seen by Dr. Werner and he is also very kind, very professional, takes his time and explains everything they are doing as well as answers your questions. Whichever of them you see they will probably go beyond your expectations for a quality and satisfying experience. They are the perfect team to trust your eyes/vision to. We love this practice and will be our family eye care doctors for many years to come.

Superb, Professional and Caring! As a former patient safety manager I have a very critical eye when it comes to the people who provide care for my family, the cleanliness of the establishment and the professional standards that are enforced or ignored at any given place. I was so pleased to find expeditious professional service, by knowledgeable caring providers (AND THEIR ENTIRE STAFF), served in an immaculately clean environment. Every person in this office impressed at every step of the process. I had scheduled a previous appointment for myself and three children at another facility and it was a pain in the neck. I was placed on hold and/or transferred at least four times, and suffice it to say that we ended up with appointments stretched over a period of 4 weeks, with one on call back, and that is after 45 minutes on the phone repeating the same information over and over for each patient. On a whim I called McDonough Family Eye Care and they were able to give appointments for all of us on the same day within three days! I provided information once and they were smart enough to know it applied to all!! The day of the appointment we were greeted immediately by friendly, professional staff, and were never once left waiting for anything! I cannot give them high enough marks! Top Shelf!! Great service started the minute I called for an appointment and continued through the final visit! We were assisted by both Dr. Werners & both were patient & kind with my children, genuine and thorough with the exam and the process. And as I noted in another review on a different website "they truly take every measure to work within your budget" even going so far as to price two styles of contact lenses for my son to demonstrate value over time! Thank you so very much!

I highly recommend this office and would suggest anyone not happy with their current Optometrist, or eye exams, do yourself a huge service by scheduling your next appointment for eye care, or eye wear at McDonough Family Eye Care. Dr.s Scot M. and Brenda Ramos-Werner are the best of the best. These doctors really do care about the patient and the eye care they receive. These are the most thorough eye exams I have ever received, bar none, and I have been receiving eye care/exams since I was 8 years old (61 now). The equipment used at this practice is state of the art, and the attention and care provided by both of these doctors is outstanding. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who is not satisfied with their Optometrist, or the eye care they are currently receiving, or, to anyone new to the area, or just looking for a good Optometrist on the South side, or in the Henry County/McDonough area. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment with McDonough Family Eye Care. You wont be sorry you did, believe me. You will not only be impressed by the doctors and the (entire) staff, but will have done yourself a great service by having done so...believe me. I became a patient at McDonough Family Eye Care in 2014 and I feel an absolute obligation to share this information with anyone who receives eye care and is looking for the best doctors and the best care. I hope you will give them a try. I know you will be impressed and I feel certain, by any measure, you will come away a happy and a satisfied customer/patient. Oh, and if youre even the slightest bit skeptic; dont believe me, just go and see for yourself. : )

We LOVED McDonough Family Eye Care for its like family touch, knowledge and impeccable customer service. They still have great customer service but have driven away from convenience and going above and beyond to meet busy family needs. The feeling you get when you arrive is peaceful, friendly and helpful. But if you dont have an appointment, even if you have just been seen it is very difficult to order after your appointment or get further direction without needing to make another appointment or come back to the office in person. Further instruction includes prior to the appointment as well. I know you can ask anyone if you have a question but if you dont know what to ask?? You are given paperwork to fill out with no explanation of why you might want to choose such and such eye test or not. Also you can forget over the phone service any longer such as glasses/lenses quotes. I understand they want to ensure they are putting you into the glasses that meet your needs but I am not ORDERING the glasses just need an estimate. I feel like it is becoming more about $$$ and high tech overhead that transfers over to customer costs rather than customer needs :(

Shameless hustlers, these people have no qualms about subjecting you to unnecessary medical procedures to increase their bill. Got my moms glasses there last year, but she had been complaining that she had trouble with her reading vision so we needed them to check that the bifocals were correct. They insisted that they could only do so if she agreed to a totally inappropriate medical procedure that she has done every 8 weeks at a specialist eye clinic at Emory. In spite of them fully understanding the situation they said they would only help her if they could bill her insurance for this procedure which they would only do if she had the procedure. I even said we would pay cash instead but they refused, saying they did not do any exam that did not include this procedure. Seriously. I spoke to the front desk, then her manager, then the office manager, all of them saying the same thing about it being to charge the insurance rather than medical necessity. They actually suggested that I try at Walmart! Shocking, unprofessional, and immoral. It has everything to do with an exorbitant charge to the insurance and not quality of care.
