[Location/Ambiance]: Relaxed, open environment. [Service]: Setting up an appointment, prior : I spoke with Danielle over the phone last week and asked her a couple of questions. She regrettably informed that they were completely booked for the week of 4/13. But there were slots for next week so I opted for something in the afternoon. She requested my cell phone number along with the usual information to book me. Over the weekend, there was a text message reminder asking if I was still confirmed for the appointment. Which was quite helpful, as things might come up but their office might be closed and you no longer can make it. Side note - On their agreement forms, they do charge $25 for no call / no shows on appointments, as they would like to provide the best service for people who can stick to their appointments. Two strikes of that, and you can no longer book appointments and you will only be treated as a walk-in. Fair enough. The day before my exam, there was another text reminder of my appointment and time. Some people might find this annoying, but its pretty thoughtful. Just swipe it to ignore it. Day of appointment - Front Desk : I arrived at around 12:02 but earlier in the morning I downloaded the available paperwork on their site to fill out. Upon arriving there was maybe 1 other person in front of me as for waiting goes. The front desk assistant was glad that I filled everything out, though I did inform her I left the portion with my social security out. She stated that its ok and booking my appointment earlier, she contacted my insurance company to get all the info she needed. Nice. So I had left was to chill and wait for my turn. There were patients coming and going, but other than myself, there were only 2 other people waiting. Eye Health Tests: The optometrist assistant (Im not sure what their exact title is) did the normal procedures and was very patient with me as astigmatisms in each eye and waited on me for my eyes to adjust to read the eye chart test. After a couple of more tests. She had me throw out my old contacts that I was still wearing and then wait for the Dr. Eye Exam: Averaging about 5-6 mins in the same examine room, in came Dr. Zadeh with an another assistant helping him with the "electronic" paperwork while he examine my vision. He was very chill with the examination, having much patience and understanding that I didnt see much difference between A or B. Eye glass optometrist: Since I informed them that I wanted to see if I could be examined later in the year to see if I would applicable as a candidate for Lasik, and understood I would need to wear glasses for 3 days or more before being examined. They sent me to the "other side" of the office, where all the glass frames were displayed. They carry various brands, such as Oakley, Tommy Hilfiger etc, from what I remembered so far. Prices vary, though one pair of the Oakleys were actually around $30ish. Wowwie. Sheila was the optometrist that helped picked out a bunch of frames for me to try on after what were some of my color taste. She was honest when some frames didnt look right on me and I would agree. And the frames that were in my maybe pile, werent the most expensive. She was upfront on the out of pocket costs and never tried to up sell me with all the lens options. {Summary}: My first experience was great and compared to Visionworks where I went for my last exam with the same insurance provider, I wouldnt hesitate to come to Family Eyecare of Roswell again. I can see why they have appointments that get booked quickly. So try to book it before your last contact or before your prescription expires. Everyone was helpful and I never felt like I was going to get suckered to meet a corporate quota of sorts. Dr Zadeh and Dr. Sheila were great. Though I wish the front desk gave me my prescription along with my receipt, Ill have to call for it.

I would NEVER reccomend a place like this to anyone. So to begin with my experience was terrible because I made an appointment and was told I was not on the list.. for that day. Secondly the wait was terribly long when there were only 2 other people there. The wait wasnt even the worst part. The staff that day was TERRIBLE. Nobody wanted to help anyone.... they were so busy and worried about their lunch hour, that they didnt want to answer any questions. Now the doctor is nice and all but he tried to charge me $80 for the contact fitting fee - $10 co-pay. The doctor then told me I had an astigmatism problem and I would have to wear astigmatism lense. Honestly, thats when I started believing that this place wasnt worth my time or money. When I insisted Ive never had to wear special contact lenses, he kept telling me I needed it.... and to make things even better I would have to purchase a special wash AND a special type of eye drop for $215....WHY WOULD I EVER spend than much on eyedrops? Thats beyond ridiculous.Lastly I was told they could order my acuvue 2s but they didnt have any- AND told me my vision changed drastically... And the checkout lady was beyond RUDE. Im never going back to this place nor will I let my family go back. They ended up telling me that they were mailing me a refund check and I should look somewhere else. Avoid this place at all costs. I went to pearle vision- my old eye doctor place and was told that my vision didnt change at all and only had to pay $40. GO to pearle vision, even if its a long drive its worth the customer service and the outstanding nurses/employees.

Absolutely superb staff and service received. I couldnt have imagined a more helpful, kind, friendly, family like staff than I experienced visiting this office. This was my first visit and will be following up next week for "Contact Lenses Follow Up" and to pick up my frames. This is the first time I opted to try contact lenses. They fitted me after testing my eyes, then put them in for me. While they were in, I went over to choose a set of frames. Ive always been afraid of things going into my eye but this was not nearly as difficult as I expected. I chose to go ahead and get contacts too. The trainer was phenomenal and helped guide me with each step of the way. She politely let me know what she saw me doing that was making it more difficult than it should be. For example, when removing, I didnt have my finger in the right place to hold open my eyelid or when putting them in, ditto... It may have taken me about 45 minutes to take them out then put them back in, but my oh my. None of the office staff showed any signs of losing patience with me and were very encouraging. I love my contacts and wish Id have had the opportunity to meet this doctor and staff much sooner! Again, everyone was polite and had very little to absolutely no wait time. I was very impressed. The office was also very clean and had a light and calm atmosphere on the inside.

Dr. Zadeh and his staff are outstanding. I was a patient of Dr. Zadehs 20 years ago but moved out of state. We moved back to the Atlanta area a few years back and I started going to an ophthalmologist in the area. After two tries to get glasses with the correct Rx, I decided to go elsewhere. I happened to be driving down Roswell Rd and saw Dr. Zadehs office. The name sounded familiar and sure enough, it was him. I was able to make a same-day appointment. Everyone was super friendly and professional. Dr. Zadeh was patient and made sure that my Rx was correct. He even had me try out the lenses to see it I could see the way I wanted to. One eye was clearer than the other so he made one adjustment and that did the trick. No need to worry about whether my prescription will be correct when my glasses arrive as I have already tested out the prescription. Sheila (the optician) is awesome. Shes very knowledgeable and super friendly. She is honest and will not try to upsell you like the big retailers. Great experience.
