Ill start this review by saying that I am an extremely critical person. It is rare in this day and age to find any business that cares about anything more than getting the dollar out of your pocket. I am happy to say that Opticare Vision Center and Dr. Lora Ledford in particular are not like that. Dr. Ledford always takes the time and puts in the extra effort to do it properly. She understands the word "Professional" and practices it. This is a far different experience than what I have experienced at chain stores of optometry. Also different than the chains, OVC offers frames of different sizes! I have a large head and at the chain stores I have constantly been given a choice of 4-5 frames because they large sizes arent popular. OVC gave me a choice of a dozen large frames and had more if I wished to order! They also carry plenty of regular sizes, childrens, specialty driving glasses - more than you would ever expect from a "smaller" optometry office. They also have all of the expected tints and coatings you see on T.V. - Transitions, Crizal, etc. The staff is flexible about appointments, friendly, and have adjusted my glasses numerous times after "accidents" when I have just walked in and asked! You will not be disappointed if you give Dr. Ledford a chance.

I have been a patient of Dr. Grutzmacher for several years and I have always been very pleased with the care Ive received at Opticare. The staff is very professional. The optician who worked with me when I last visited was VERY patient as I tried to pick out new frames while my pupils were dilating. She was very understanding when I told her I would have to return the next day to make my final choice since it was just too difficult to see! I was also very impressed with how quickly my new glasses were ready to be picked up. I wouldnt think of going elsewhere for my eye care.

A great bunch of people work here at Opticare Vision Center in Cherry Grove. There are several great Doctors to check out your eyes and a wonderful staff to assist you in picking out your new glasses if you so desire. So if you are wondering whether you should go here, I would definitely recommend them.
