I would make this higher, but her MA laughingly told me she doesnt read lab results. She just goes on what the computer generates. Therefore, a fairly large mistake was made, and when I pointed out the problem her MA mocked me. Sorry, there is no amount of bedside manner that makes up for misdiagnosing someone based on a faulty computer generation. This is in response to the office response to my review. IM NOT GOING BACK TO A DOCTOR WHO DOESNT READ LAB RESULTS. ARE YOU INSANE??? I had given the doc 3 stars, but you, office manager, forced me to reduce it to one. Im certainly not going to pay you to discuss your mess up, or the cruelty of your staff. I will give you some advise: 1) Normal TSH ranges are 0-4.5, with anything over 4.5 being hypothyroid, not hyperthyroid. HOWEVER, if you couple that with a free T-4 of 1.5 the only indication is a retest, not a change in medication. Thats why you needed to read the results yourself. I know that, having now had thyroid disease for 32 years. I had to beg Bessie to get the results. She argued with me that I needed to look on the patient portal. I finally screamed. At that point I got the results, and found out the reason why I was getting sicker. When I told Bessie this whole thing was wrong, and why, she just laughed at me and repeated thats what the computer said. My assessment was confirmed by an endocrinologist who wanted to know what doctor lowered my dose (he thought maybe it was a urologist or something, not a family doctor who is trained).Oh yes, office manager, or whoever publicly reached out to me, I told him: Ayesha Shaikh. She didnt read the test results, and went on the computer. Dont blame Bessie. All Bessie did was tell me the truth. Thank you. 2) Since you think Im going to pay to give you feedback, and you didnt bother to reach out to me privately, now its public. 3) Have a nice day :). Oh...forgot something to warn people about... 4) It was your job to see that I got a dexascan at age 50. I now have osteoporosis. If I had gotten a dexascan this would have been caught. Now I have a 7th chronic illness to contend with. Again, thanks so much. 5) Next time, if you want this type of feedback, reach out privately.

I am 65 years old and have several medical issues. I have struggled for many years to lead as healthy a life as possible with my medical issues and no doctor has been able to help me. Then I met Dr. Shaikh and I fell in love with her. She was able to do with me what no doctor before her has been able to accomplish. I feel great, healthy and strong, finally. In addition to her excellent medical skills, she has a network of great specialists she recommends to her patients that she works with to help her patients. She is the best doctor I have ever seen and I recommend her highly to anyone in search for an outstanding, highly knowledgeable and caring primary care doctor. She is the best!

Dr. is fine. But the office is completely incompetent. Takes a day or two to make an appointment because no one answers the phone and you have to leave voicemails back-and-forth with them. And then when you do get an appointment you have to wait an hour and a half after your scheduled time to see the doctor. That is just unacceptable. A completely inappropriate way to run a doctors office. I would never recommend this place to anybody.

Both visits, I waited close to an hour to be seen . No apology, no explanation. I went for a physical and they didnt even have me undress or give a urine sample. This doctor is nice but I cant deal with an office that is run so inappropriately. Theres a weird vibe there. Its void of joy and all who work there hardly talk to make a new patient comfortable. I wont return, nor will I recommend.

Love having her on my medical care team!!! Very professional, kind, caring, and excellent bedside manner. I would recommend her to anybody. I know 3 other people who have been seeing her for years and they love her. Ive also never had a problem with her office.
