The person who checked me in was very nice and helpful- the female sitting in the left window when you walk in. As I sat there I was forced to hear the lady that sits in the Center at the front desk go off about several things. I have outlined my concerns below: 1- a technician came up to tell the ladies they scheduled a MRI instead of a CT scan, or maybe vs versa. The point being the lady started talking about how the tech needed to straighten her attitude just like a lot of other people. She continued to go on about fellow employees, her unhappiness, etc. She had a terrible attitude and was so loud I couldnt help but think it was for all to hear. 2- which is the final straw and reason Im doing this. She told the lady bringing me back for my xray (who was very nice and polite) that I was ignoring her when she called my name. As I told the lady calling my name I wouldnt do that and I didnt hear my name. I dont appreciate being accused of being a jerk which is what that is saying about me. In reality the lady must be reflecting because she made the false accusation. 3- my doctor praised you saying you take scheduled appointments because you guys are very mindful of a patients time. So I should be in and out of this appointment. Nope, took 1 hour. I will be letting my doctor know that the happy and great reports she gave me are in fact false, all of them. No patient needs to hear what sounds like a hostle work environment while they are waiting a hour to be seen or any period of time for that matter. Further, if your staff must accuse someone of being rude maybe they should be big enough to say it to their face or at least take it to the back in private.

The system was down when I walked in the door. Everyone in the waiting room was on edge. They were getting nasty phone calls as well. I have had several MRIs in the past. Im a very good patient. I know whats expected and how to act. The office staff was not concerned with any of my special billing requests. They told me how it was going to be. The tech wouldnt even show me my images at the end! Theyre mine! And I paid for them!! I know they dont give medical advice or consult. I just wanted to view my images while she attempted to put them all on a disc. The tech was unsure if she could even get them all on a disc for me. Hopefully their radiologist is really as good as Ive heard. Im not very impressed with this facility. If you get cold or want a panic button because youre claustrophobic? Dont come here.

Great service, very professional everytime. Excellent hours for working professionals. No complaints from me. Regarding the person who complained about not seeing their images. MRIs are too complex for a lay person to read them them for themself. Thats what all those YEARS of medical school and residency training is for. The fly-by, internet self-trained "experts" are doing themself a disservice by thinking they can do a better job than the radiologist can. My doc gets their report or copies of the images very quickly. I have never had any glitches working with them and I have had several studies with them.

The staff seemed nice, however, the wait time is absolutely absurd. My mother had an appointment at 5:30pm. We arrived 15 minutes earlier as recommended in order to fill out some paperwork. After playing the waiting game for 30 minutes, now 6pm, she was taken back for 10-15 minutes, only to be told that she can wait til 7:30 for another appointment because whoever was supposed to relay messages and notes left out the part, which was told beforehand, that my mother is chlostorphobic. Moral of the story: If you planned to have things to do or errands to run after your appointment, go ahead and cancel them.

Patient care was great - trying to get a refund for OOP amount paid up front was a mess! Was told when I called in early March that it would be credited back to my card by the end of the month - its now 4/4 and I still dont have my refund even though my insurance paid the claim in full! Had the shoe been on the other foot and I didnt pay them timely, Im sure I would be with a collection agency after a month of waiting......

Just referred a long time friend to schedule her MRI here ... Just looked at a review: the people working there DO NOT have to know what the images say nor are they supposed to interpret them ... they are radiology technicians or technologists. AMI, gets you quickly scheduled, in and out (the three or four times Ive had to be there), and they are less EXPENSIVE when compared to the hospital, for one!!

The folks doing the imaging do not have a clue what the images taken mean. I asked on the phone and told them in person what i am expecting to get out of the image. They aid yes and okay... Then it turns out the image has nothig to do with what i am looking to get out of it. Despite their clear incompetence, They refused to cancel the transaction.

This facility is very disorganized, I waited for over and hour and half. Then had to continually call them to send my results, Kept insisting that they didnt have a phone number to the sending doctor. My doctor did not receive the results for over three weeks. Then when took films to compare said they never received films. Go somewhere else!

The service with the technician was great. There are serious problems with the front end personnel. Appointments are forgotten. You show up and they dont know why you are there or the paperwork is in complete. I waited 2.5 hors for an appointment with no apologie. People get it together. Customer service is important.

I tried asking my technician how much radiation my CT scan would involve and she was dumbfounded. She then tried to tell me it was "the same as standing outside". She showed a painful lack of understanding of what she was doing and clearly has no care for details. Some fat white lady with a southern accent.

Have had 4 ct scans in the past 6 months. All were fast and on-time. Costs were far lower than any hospital would be. Staff was professional and friendly. One free CD of images is provided at time of service if requested. I could not be more pleased with the services I received there.

Staff was very friendly..I had an evening appointment which was very convenient, oppose morning appts..I suggest if you are coming for a MRI ,come after 5:00pm to beat the crowd.. Overall my visit was a pleasant one I would highly recommend American Health Imaging..my rating is 5

The actual service is wonderful, very professional technician. The problem is getting the results. My Doctor never received them, I had to call three times to get them faxed and I still havent gotten the results. Ill probably have to drive over and pick them up.

I have been to this location 2-3 times. Wait times are awful, even with appointments. The administrative staff are.. less than impressive. The clinical staff are professional but seem hurried. Definitely seems like appropriate scheduling is not being followed.
