ok I had surgery on Dec 9.2015 at eastside hospital .. ok the whole thing started at 615am a dr Tario hakky came into my room he was very nice at first . now he tells me what he thing is going on and gave me 3 choices that I had . well 1 is to drain it . 2 was to go inside and see what was going on . 3 operation . well he told me I had to make one of those choices by 630 am which to me wasnt enough time to make a decision so he kind of look like he was getting upset .. but he said ok ill be back at 630am and u have to make your mind up . so I talk to my mom about what she thinks I should do .. she said operation so I said ok .. so I call him back in and then thats when he started getting real cocky like u can drain it our operation . but if u get operation u have to follow back up with my office but made it sound like cause u dont have insurance I should go with the first option which if I did I would not have the one testicle that I do have now so I go on December 17 for my follow up treatment to pull out the tube for my testicle and deal with the front desk person Kimberly who ask me to fill out some paper work and I do after about an hour she tells me it will be 350.00 I said ma am I dont have insurance nor do I have that kind of money oh she said well I have to clear it with my office manger I “m like ok I m in pain with a tube in my testicle and you have to check with the office manger not the doctor wow. She then came back like 15 min later and was like well you surgery was 1000 and the visit is 350.00 were are going to need the 350.00 or you cant see the doctor. At this point im upset cause I have a tube in me and I have no one who will help me with it. So I decide to go to the er at eastside medical center cause I dont know what else to do. I was seen by a doctor who was the most nicest person whom really cared about what was going on . I was so great full that someone was going to help me. She told me she was going to call the doctor and get to the bottom of it. She got ahold of Dr. Patel and he told her to tell me he was sorry about the way the staff acted and that I could come back to the office and they would do it. So I was released from the hospital and went to the office some different lady was at the front desk this time I said hello we were told to meet doctor patel here . Oh she said in a smug face I remember you the one with no insurance . Hold on as she got up Mr Hakky came from behind the counter and gave me a hand jester for me to come back so I did I got to the room now mind you I havent even set down on a table for him to look at it or nothing drop your pants so I did and he took a pair of scissors and cut the string out and pulled the tube out. Then what he said next really dumbfounded after I pulled my pants up he said oh are you coming back to see me again I looked at the other person in the room and he was like well come back when you have some insurance wow really ok Come back so I can be treated like an animal off the street I dont think so never in my life have I been treated like some kind of animal off the street because I didnt have insurance. There are people who cant afford it and its not like Obama care is helping anyone out with the insurance payments. Was there ever a time when you could not afford health insurance in your life and were you treated like you were less of a person. 1555 janmar rd snellville 30078.....................its been almost a week and im in pain since Dr Tariq Hakky stuck those scissors up in where the tube came out and cutcutcutcut. Now im in pain and. I still have not had follow up to tell me whats going on .. Im scare to keep going to the ER cause at the end of the day im going to have a Big bill .. So im lost of what to do and just deal with the pain Dr Hakky caused .. Thanks to anyone who reads this

Well, before I start, I gotta say that I am so sorry to give Dr. Patel a 4 star rating instead of 5, but I really have to do so because of her super rude nurse, Han, whose attitude is absolutely unacceptable and so disgusting. She is very disrespectful. How can a nurse show an "Eww" face to a patient right in front of him and some other nurses! Uuuunbelievable!!! Everybody has been very nice to me in my 4 visits to this clinic (especially Dr. Patel himself who is a great person), but there is a nurse working here (an asian girl called Han) whos probably one of the rudest and most unprofessional people I have ever met in my life. She was so mean to me in all of my visits to this place. But the last time I was here, she did something to me that was so strange that I couldnt believe my eyes! Especially in a professional place like a medical clinic. This rude nurse was the reason that I never came back to this clinic after that. Well, this story goes back to 6 moths ago, but I came here to rate advanced urology because I couldnt deal with what happened and I wanted to get it off my chest. Long story short, beside being rude to me every time I visited this place, on my last visit, when I was walking down the hall to go and get my ultrasound done, I was passing this girl, Han, and her coworker (who was apparently another nurse), that I heard her "Han" saying to her friend: "hey, this guy is... " I just pretended that I didnt hear her, but when I got to the end of the hall, I looked back and saw her (Han) showing an "EEEWWW" face about me while she was looking straight to my eyes! I was so shocked. Like WTH! how can someone be that rude to a patient who has never done anything to her. We, the patients, are technically paying her. Ill never go back to this place just because of what she did which is definitely not normal at all.

Outstanding work, March 6, 2014 I had my surgery and April 11 2014 I had my final surgery, cant say exactly what happened under anestheia, all I know is that the huge huge huge diamond crusted hard stones, where taken down. Which had probably been living for about two or three years who knows. They caused several pain. I had to live with the stent in the kidneys for one more month after the surgery which incidentially was developing another stone on the stent when they took it out I was told, that it was result of dehydrated although I drink bottles and bottles of water and have diabetes, and believe me when the stent finally came out I have not had that particular pain any more. Now the staff was very professional and light as soon as you enter the building you are greeted and asked if you can be helped, even down to the financial counselor was friendly, the techs were friendly, the p-individual the one that sticks you and takes your blood. The Ultrasound tech was helpful, and said she remember when I first came in 2013 she told me I had the biggest stones the department had ever seen and took tests to see how they developed. So, I have been feeling betterl for a while and was told not to come back for a whole year, imagine hopefully a year without that particular pain. Very glad that I looked on the web and found this Doctor of the Patel Family. I like to thank his parents.
