I made the smarter decision to wait until the next day to write a review so as to not say something I would regret; considering the fact that I was very upset with my visit to Pearle Vision in Snellville yesterday. I called about a week in advance to schedule my appointment. When doing so, I also had them verify (with two different employees) that they were in network with my insurance. They informed me that yes, they were and that everything looks good. They scheduled my appointment for 5:00. I arrived a few minutes beforehand and filled out the paperwork they asked me to. I sat and waited... around 5:28 a lady walked in and stated she was there for her 5:30 appointment. I was remaining patient until this customer was taken back about 10 minutes later. I waited another 10 minutes or so and then walked up to the desk and asked when my appointment was. The lady at the desk told me 5:00. I then asked her what time it was now; she stated 5:51. As I stood there she proceeded to tell me that the doctor was running behind. I calmly sat back down and waited some more. Around 6:00 they asked for my information to pull up my insurance. When they did, they then told me that they only covered $5.00 of my eye exam. Followed by the statement that they were not in network with my insurance; but that effective October 1st, 2015 (in TWO days) they WOULD be in network and would cover the exam. Her response was sorry. I will not leave out the fact that this was the general manager... In retrospect: I... 1) was misinformed on the phone with crucial information concerning my insurance 2) waited an hour after my scheduled appointment time 3) watched another customer with a LATER appointment be taken before me 4) not once was spoken to reassuring me my wait was being acknowledged 5) had left work at an earlier hour than normal in order to make it the appointment... just to have this conclusion 6) was given nothing more than a sorry by the general manager after the above I am completely unhappy with the service I received and very shocked at the lack of simple customer service that this situation would have required. I understand that mistakes can be made and accuracy is only the best that we make it in our place of employment. But again, I am appalled at the effort that Pearle Vision made to accommodate the situation that I was put in due to their inaccuracy.

We first visited this establishment about 12 months ago and received excellent service, despite the poor reviews on here. However, we recently returned for follow up appointments and/or eye exams and the service we we received was extremely curt. It would appear that the problem of this business, is a lack of consistency. I dont feel that the staff, one person in particular, are professional, polite, or have good manners. I will be looking for another optometrist in the future for our family, even if it means driving further, which is unfortunate because we were happy to have found somewhere in the neighborhood that our whole family could continue to go to for years to come. If you appreciate good service and prefer to be spoken to with respect, I would not recommend that you go here.

Fantastic experience. I went on a Saturday, and the staff was cheerful and eager to help me out. They accept walk-ins on Saturday, and I was in and our in under an hour. The doctor was very helpful and informative. I will come back again. I dont know what these other reviews are saying, but I found the office very clean and on schedule.

They were helpful and kind. Prices for my contacts and glasses with my insurance were reasonable, my husband who does not have insurance at the moment was a little pricey (but I think its normal for prices to be high without insurance) Overall, good experience nice staff, but nothing that made me feel that over the top "wow" factor.
