Convenience comes at a high price. Was sent by my Wellstar Dr. for an x-ray. It was quick and convenient, what they FAILED to explain, is that they charge $800, $200 more than my insurance covers, so Im stuck with a bill for $600. Ive had the same exact x-ray done at Northside, the total bill was $125, $110 was covered by insurance so I paid only $15. This is where you can get legally ripped off, and Wellstar has the stones to do it in a big way. The best part, there is no actionable recourse. Neither they nor my insurance can help defer any of the hugely inflated cost. Thanks Obamacare! 1 x-ray for me can cover 10 other patients without insurance. No where to complain, they dont answer complaints. They dont care. They get away with it because they can.

I have an appointment today at 3:30, required to be here at 3:15 & Debbiie has been twiddling her thumbs & took a personal call as I wait...its now 3:28 & Im still not checked in! Terrible patient service with a ton of excuses as to why Ive been wasting my time sitting here like my time is worth nothing! Just a mammogram. Its my 25th wedding anniversary & Id like to spend as much of the day possible with my husband! Shouldve gone to kennestone hospital

Always friendly. Make you feel comfortable during barium swallow, bone density text, xrays, Mri and all procedures and imaging. Went here for all of that and was very happy with my experience. Thanks!!
