I highly recommend Eye Society! I had gotten my makeup professionally done, and a piece of mascara/eyeliner got lodged under my eyelid, scratching my cornea. I was in a bit of pain and was debating about going to an urgent care clinic, ophthalmologist, or Eye Society (where I go for my regular eye exams). I am so thankful I decided to go with Eye Society because they were able to see me the same day I called. The staff was so kind and patient, offering to check my insurance to see if a visit were covered. I saw Dr. Ellen Kozob, and she was wonderful. She explained everything she was doing in laymans terms, heard my questions, and most importantly was able to fix me!! I came back 3 days later for a follow up, and not only was I seen with minimum wait time, but one of the staff members offered to clean my sunglasses and tighten the screws on them. I am so impressed with the quality of patient care and customer service. Thank you, Eye Society!

I bought some glasses online from a different retailer, but they didnt quite fit. After looking for somewhere to get the glasses adjusted, this was the most convenient and easily accessible place in streeterville. Saw a negative review about fees, so I was expecting to have to pay for the adjustments, but didnt have to deal with any of that. The lady was very friendly and even took the glasses back 2 times for adjustments. They even declined the tip I offered. While waiting, I looked at their selection of frames. While pretty modest, they do have some very nice pieces. The Pradas look fantastic. Id say prices are within the normal range for designer frames, but they did have a fair number of sale items. Store was a little crammed for space as there were a lot of customers that day for some reason. But the staff seemed to be managing everyone well.

Very friendly staff, great service and good selection of frames from a wide variety of and designers. They also accept VSP. Most important, though is this: Ive had prescription lenses (glasses and contacts) for about 5 years now, and although my corrective lenses have always helped, Ive never had a prescription that was even CLOSE to how accurate my new lenses are. I am seeing detail like I never thought possible. I went in for an exam, contact fitting and to purchase a new set of frames and lenses. They didnt have samples of my exact prescription contacts, but were happy to order me more samples before I needed to commit to purchasing any. Both the new samples and the frames were ready less than a week after my initial appointment.

I was very disappointed with this clinic. First of all The doctor prescribed me the more expensive collyrium I had paid, and the worst it didnt work. After 7 days I returned there to make a FU, I didnt stay in the room with the doctor more than 5 minutes. For my surprise, after 40 days I received 2 bills, one for the first visit and the other one for the second. The attends in the front office never told me I will have to pay for FU, and when we escalated to the manager, and she told the doctor did another procedure on the second visit, which is not true, and she also told us these 5 minutes are considered as new visit, and those are the rules. I will never come back to this place again and for sure I dont recommend to anybody.

I wouldnt say its the best experience but not the worst either. For what I need, it works just fine. A bit pricey but thankfully I have vision insurance. The only thing that irked me is that they offer appointment requests via ZocDoc but twice already, I would get a call back saying that the time slot I chose was already booked -- um, okay, then why did I get a confirmation email? And the wait times can be up to 30 mins which if I am going during lunch hour is a huge time sucker. Next time call if your doctor or schedule is running behind perhaps? Just a thought. Lastly, I have seen 3 doctors in the last year. Not sure what is going on with the high turnover. Otherwise, staff and docs have always been super friendly.

My eye exam experience is good. Doctor is professional. However when it comes to order the contacts, things get nasty. I placed my contact order on Dec 28, 2016 and I inform the agent that I have to get the contacts before Jan 11, 2017 because Im leaving the U.S for Chinese New Year. And they promised me I will for sure get those contacts before I departed. And it turns out that is a big lie, I called them on Jan 9 and Jan 10, and they said its coming and I can get it before Jan 11, 2017. And they will for sure to call me back to give me a solution, and theyve never call me back. It causes me great unconvience because Im going back China without necessary supply contacts for two months. Horrible experience ever!!!!

I know it sounds cliche to say I am treated like family - but it is so true. There are plenty of places I could choose to go for my eye exams/ eyeglasses but it is the team that keeps me coming back. They know who I am when I walk in the door and greet me by name and are always so friendly. Every single visit is special. I am not good with picking out frames and the fact that the team there helped to select the best frames for my face/coloring was amazing - the compliments I continue to receive on my glasses still surprise me (NOT used to that!). I cant say enough great things about Eye Society and am thankful for the treatment they provide. THANK YOU!

The doctor and staff are amazing! Having dealt with pushy staff from the last optometrist, I was a bit nervous when I walked in, but my experience here was night and day. The staff was extremely helpful with explaining my insurance coverage. They should be what was completely covered and what was premium. They also went above and beyond to explain why some premium where better than what was offered. The doctor was friendly and she explained my prescription in full detail and what astigmatism was. To my knowledge I was blind. Long story short, great staff, lots of selection of designer frames and even sunglasses!! I highly recommend Eye Society!

Best eye care service Ive ever had. Quick and efficient yet thorough eye exam and service. Everyone is so friendly and Ive never felt pressured to purchase eyewear or contacts directly from them (but I do now though because how could I pass up their prices and free home shipping? Its great!). Ive been a client for over two years now and Ive never had a less than stellar experience. They even saved me from a debacle when I ripped my last contact lens right before I had to travel. I was able to pick up a trial pair within a few minutes to get me until my scheduled annual appointment the following week.

My experience at Eye Society was excellent. I had my eyes examined and the ophthalmologist was very thorough. I was having trouble selecting new frames. One of the staff (I am afraid I dont know his name) was EXTREMELY good at teaching me how to pick out a new style of frames. It is always a daunting experience when selecting new glasses because it is expensive and one is often uneasy about what they have chosen. The employee that assisted me made me very comfortable with my choice. I have received many compliments about my new glasses and have told everyone I got them at Eye Society.
