I have had the best service here multiple times. Im not going to lie, Im a pretty high maintaince patient. I had to cancel last minute due to crazy circumstances, and they helped me reschedule easily. Last year when I went in for an eye exam and glasses, I literally tried every pair of sunglasses on in the entire store and wasnt satisfied. So, I found this regular pair of glasses, and asked if we could put tinted lenses with my rx in them and they worked perfectly. They look like they were meant to be a pair of sun glasses. This year when I went in for my regular eye exam, I wasnt purchasing new glasses but noticed on my glasses the lenses needed taken out and cleaned, I asked them to do that for me, and they very kindly took them back and did that for me, and gave me a new bottle glasses cleaner. Seriously, the nicest staff Ive ever encountered.

I couldnt really tell you about the eye exam or fitting since I was rudely told to reschedule after walking through the door. I had set up an appointment a week earlier and submitted all the paperwork online but the morning of called to say I would be 15-20 minutes late (people with a newborn would understand nap/nursing demands) and would that be okay. The woman who answered the phone said that would be fine, that the doctor didnt have any other appointments scheduled, and to just come on in. I hurriedly walked the stroller over to the location (with a 9 week old) and was turned away because the doctor was on a conference call and wasnt available for the rest of the day. Well, you can imagine my frustration. No need to reschedule. Ill go somewhere else to spend my $1000 on contacts and give referrals.

I recently had a great experience at Solo Eye Care. I went in for a vision test to get an updated prescription, the staff was all very friendly and courteous. Each step of the process was explained to me in the right amount of detail, which gave me a good comfort level. Dr. Alex was very nice to work with and it was apparent that she was concerned with me as a "patient." Michael also took great care of me, showed me lots of options for new glasses and lenses. He even went as far as ordering a set of frames in a color I was interested in just so I could see them in person. Every step of the process was flawless, I highly recommend Solo to anyone who is interested in experiencing optometry excellence!

Sadly, if you can avoid this place, please do. The doctor is great, fast and very professional. However, my experience with the rest of the staff is not that pleasant. After the exam, your order is always delayed. The staff takes several weeks to follow up. We ordered eye glasses and contact lenses, after two/three weeks I had to call to see if they had arrived and the contact lenses took a month for which I also had to call coincidentally the contact lenses arrive at that very moment. I think the price is in range with other places and quality wise the products are good.

I recently had an eye exam and got fitted for glasses. A few months later I went in to have the frames adjusted, then the stem broke off when I got home. I was very concerned that I would have to incur another large expense. When I called Solo Eye Care the staff went above and beyond to find an exact replacement, when they couldnt I was asked to come in and find another frame - no charge! I very much appreciate their courtesy, consideration and attention to the patient. I will be returning here and recommending them to friends and family. JoD

The service is impeccable. I was called at my appointed time, no waiting. All tests and charges were openly discussed, with the benefits and necessity (or not) pointed out. Dr Kasia ran some tests that I normally have to go to an Opthamologist for and it was really helpful to know my status. The eyeglass selection was a lot more hands on than Im used to. Albert brought frames for me to try based on the type of lenses that I was ordering. I couldnt ask for anything more from an Optometrist visit. Nothing.
