I had a wonderful experience at Village Eyecare. The place is very conveniently located in the South Loop, clean and my first immediate impression was that it smelled awesomely like fresh balsam. I commented on it and Christopher at the front desk explained that had had just changed the plug-in. I was very impressed with all three individuals I interacted with -- Christopher, Elaine, and of course Dr. Sood. The staff was exceptional and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when it came to handling insurance matters (Christopher), answering questions/giving suggestions when picking out frames (Elaine), and giving a thorough and realistic explanation of my eye health as a result of extensive contact wear on my part. Dr. Sood was very knowledgeable and took her time answering my questions to ensure I chose contacts that were both within my budget and best for my eyes. I had a lot of questions about which type of contacts (daily vs bi-weekly) would be best for the health of my eyes. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and attentively. I was very impressed with how personable everyone was -- I highly recommend this facility.

I went in because I needed a contacts fitting. The office is really nice and there is a good selection of glasses, but I had already gotten a new pair, and they were nice about leaving me alone after I said I didnt need a new pair of glasses. My appointment was at like 1130 i think, but I had to wait for about 15 minutes before I was seen, which is my only complaint. The doctor was very nice and quick, and I got a sample pair even though they didnt have quite the correct prescription, but they were nice enough to order me a sample pair with the correct prescription, which I ended up picking up about a week later when it got in. Overall, it went smoothly and I have a new contacts prescription, so Im happy about it. If I had been seen when I got in quickly, I would give them a 5 star rating.

Village Eyecare has the best eye care Ive been searching for. Both doctors are very serious about eye care and take a lot of pride in there profession. I appreciate the service from both doctors and the support from Elaine, who has helped me pick out my frame. Ill be going back to Village Eyecare as soon as I need another eye exam and glasses. Nobody cant go wrong in going to these doctors, their quality is A+. Some people may think that theyre too expensive, but youll have to pay the money for excellent, good quality, and professional eye care service. Thank you so much Village Eyecare for providing me with the best eye care Ive long anticipated for. The time and money is well worth it.

This eyecare facility is very close to my house so it is quite convenient. I was seen soon after completing the paperwork given to me upon my arrival. Dr. Sood was friendly and chatty, despite my being the last appointment at 6pm. The woman assisting me in selecting frames was nice and helpful. I was told the new lenses and frames would be ready in a week and I was emailed 4 days later to say they were ready. I went in to pick them up and a male attendant helped me get comfortable with the frames. All the people who I interacted with here were professional and friendly. It made me feel welcome and I look forward to my check up in a year.

They have lovely, lovely Prada frames and I am so happy with my sunglasses I bought three of the same kind! Beyond that they are excellent eye doctors and can diagnose eye diseases with the greatest of precision and provide for you the right medicine to clean it up. I like attentive staff as well. Many a time I came in and they helped me browse their latest frames. Whoever stocks their selection of designer frames is really up on the times. Buy the latest and often and you will be wearing the chicest frames in town! Look the a million dollars without spending so much. They have affordable designer frames and are worth stopping by and visiting.

Had my first experience at this optometry office as a new patient this past weekend with Dr.elizabeth urbaniak. Right when I walked in the door the staff knew who I was and were so attentive to all my needs. They help me to quickly see my optometrist and also to pick out glasses. Dr. Urbaniak is amazingly kind and knowledgeable, a great eye doctor all around. The staff members were so helpful, allowing me time to get all the different frames and then pick which one suited me best, which sometimes takes a while since Im indecisive. Overall the best experience Ive had at an optometrists office and I will definitely be back

First of...Dr. Sarai knows what he is doing. I have never felt more comfortable working with an eye doctor. I went in there after reading some of the reviews not really knowing what to expect, but I can say this, the negative ones are not to be trusted. I was given professional treatment from the staff and doctor. From the minute I walked in the door, I was treated like a loyal customer. They properly diagnosed my eye problem and had me walking out of the store eagerly awaiting my new frames. I can not wait until they come because I am sure they will be just as good as the treatment I received.

Been going here for years and love it. Friendly, professional staff that is very helpful finding the glasses and/or contacts right for you. Honest, not pushy, and up to date on the latest. Just last month they put me in a pair of new Bausch and Lomb multifocal contacts that have relegated my reading glasses to the case except for the tiniest of print. And one pair lasts a month! In fact, I waited to write this to make sure they held up that long (I was skeptical) and they have. I cant imagine going anywhere else for my vision care.

I love this place!!!! The doctors are so personable and caring and made me feel so comfortable during each visit. This is the first eye doctor that integrated technology and social media into their services. It was very interesting to see the inside of my eye through their computer and it makes me feel safe that they will detect any changes to my eyes over time. The staff is also very friendly. Oh, and did I mention that they have the BEST selection of lenses. I own 5 pairs myself! I would definitely recommend this place!

I was looking for a place in my neighborhood, I found this place on google and they were listed as a provider through my insurance. I was able to schd an appt easily enough within the week. Dr Mona is fantastic, she listens to your concerns and explains everything, I didnt bring my glasses so I was not able to have my eyes dilated, just a FYI for new patients to bring your glasses! The selection of eye glass frames range from $250-450 easy street parking or right off the Roosevelt EL stop

I LOVE Village Eye Care! The quality of care and the attention to detail is hard to find these days. The doctor is very thorough and leaves no stone unturned when it comes to your eye health. The staff at Village Eye Care is so helpful and knowledgable. I had some questions about my vision insurance benefits and they helped me every step of the way. We live in Lincoln Square, but travel down to the South Loop for Village Eye Care. Highly recommend you use them for all your vision needs.
