Terrible experience all around, my dog was hit by a car, the police station found her and brought her here. After that I was charged almost 700 dollars for X-rays and medication, the next day they called me telling me my dog needed different medication and could not take the medicine that I had purchased from them, telling me I had to go purchase more, but when we picked her up they said that there were no broken bones or anything, 2 days later they called me again because she wasnt getting any better that is when they informed me that she had a broken pelvis,which they knew about the whole time, so we took her back up there to get looked at and when they were checking her out now all of a sudden they think she has broken legs, with that being said they dont give 2 craps about your animals all they care about is money, most pathetic facility I have ever been to, I will NEVER go back. POS

THESE DOCTORS ARE THE REASON MY DOG IS DEAD. I TOLD THEM WHAT WAS WRONG AND THEY REFUSED TO BELIEVE IT, AFTER WEEKS OF THEIR CONFERRING AND TELLING ME THEY DIDNT KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY DOG AND CHARGING ME ALMOST $1,000 FOR THEIR IGNORANCE I WENT BACK TO MY OLD VET IN ANOTHER STATE AND MY DOG WAS DIAGNOSED WITH EXACTLY WHAT I TOLD HORSELAKE HE HAD. I WOULDNT TAKE A WORM TO THESE DOCTORS. MY DOG SUFFERED UNNECESSARILY AND I STILL FEEL SICK ABOUT IT AND THE FACT THAT I DIDNT WALK AWAY FROM THESE INCOMPETENT DOCTORS SOONER. STAY AWAY THERE ARE BETTER VETS IN COLLINSVILLE. NORTHGATE IS ONE.

Have taken all my pets here at this point for something or another and every time but 1 has been a great experience (25+ times going here now). They have the equipment and knowledge needed to take care of your animals and your bill will be half the cost of what some of the other vets around charge for the same services. The off time was just a clash of personalities. They have at least 4 doctors to choose from so just like people doctors, personality clashes could develop so we know which doctors we want to schedule an appointment with and who we do not.

My dog had a fx hip. I could see his bone out of place. My heart was broken. Dr. Irwin and his staff saved my k-9. He performed surgery and wasnt sure if my dog would walk again are if a leg would lost. Dr. Irwin built a cast to keep the screws in place and to make sure the bones healed properly. Now My baby is leaping in a single bound over my head. Out running rabbits. Dr. Irwin you are the best vet around. When it comes to doctors for me or my k-9 I want the best!!!!!. Thank you Dr. Irwin.

I use the Veterinary Care and the Pet Resort boarding for our two bulldogs and let me tell you I wouldnt take them anywhere else! It is such peace of mind when we go on vacation to have such a caring and loving facility take care of our dogs! And should any problems arise while we are gone the animal hospital is right there to take care of any emergency situations. The Veterinary Care is outstanding! We have found trustworthy caring veterinarians at Horseshoe Lake! Thank you all so much!

We took our dog diagnosed with cancer to Horseshoe Lake for a second opinion, but decided to stay with them for care. They were wonderful! With their help, we had more time with her and more quality time. When she passed away, my children and I took our new puppy to Horseshoe Lake. Dr. Irwin is wonderful! The children asked him questions and he was very patient and answered each question fully. Would highly recommend!

Price gouge on medicine Wouldnt write me a script said I had to buy through them but they price match if I found it cheaper. Vet told me, and I quote, " go online and find the cheapest price you can and we will match it." So I did. I have been using the same price match for months now and suddenly today they refuse to accept it. Now my dogs are out of their meds but they have list a customer. I will not go back.

I take my 1.5 year old shepherd mix to Dr. Mollet at Horseshoe Lake Animal Hospital and have never been disappointed. I always receive friendly service from a well-trained staff that I know care deeply for all their furry patients. I would highly recommended Horseshoe Lake Animal Hospital and Dr. Mollet to anyone in need of a veterinarian.

Everyone there is FANTASTIC! Harper is a bit on the hyper side and everyone is so great with her, she loves to give everyone kisses when shes there. Shes is never anxious or nervous when we get there, just a bundle of excited. The techs and Dr. Jacob are great with her and us, they always take their time and answer any concerns we have.

I was just at the facility trying to negotiate a price to save my dog (who has a tumor) and i couldnt afford it. So off handedly i said "well i guess shell (my dog cootie) die early." and i look up and the tech (sarah i think thats how its spelled) smiled and chuckled at me. I was offended and saddened so i just left. Thanks you guys.

My dog, Honey, just spent ten days boarded at Horseshoe. She was treated like a queen. The staff was outstanding in keeping me informed of Honeys progress while I was gone. The kind culture and attentiveness permeates the entire staff. It is rare to find a group of people so dedicated. I highly recommend this facility.

All of the vets at the clinic are the best. Dr Jacob was our vet today and his is one of the most caring people that I have ever met. Each of the staff members loving and caring to all of the animals they come into contact with. I highly recommend Horseshoe Lake Animal Hospital and the Grooming center right next door.

I always ask for Dr. Randla who has a very gentle way with my shy chihuahua and Renee Bowlin, a tech, is the best with all animals. The entire team at this office is wonderful, from the front desk to the vet techs to the doctors. The level of care that they have provided to our multiple pets is unparalleled. Our dog even gets excited when we pull into the parking lot. I would recommend them to anyone.
