In my opinion this is type of veterinary service that seems to try to tack excessive services to simple exams or procedures to inflate the bottom line. When presented the remedy (estimate) the staff will attempt to justify the excessive charges as "standard practice" to make it seem like all veterinary services operate in this fashion. Just as any service you can decline the offerings and take your business elsewhere, just as I did. With their estimate in hand the same unresolved issues, I visited other professional veterinary services (multiple) in the area in an attempt to price shop and compare the quality of services to help out additional pet owners. My results are as follows: - In general this establishment is priced about 68% above the the completion. - Excessive unneeded add-ons result in a 20% higher bill rate. - General surgery is priced 70% above competitors. - Comprehensive medical exams (office visit) are priced 30% above other veterinary services in the area. - This establishment was less helpful/informative then the competition. - The staff was just as friendly and personable as the rest of the competition. - Cleanliness of the office was on par with the rest of the veterinary offices. Do yourself and your checking account a favor, pass on this one.

We take our lab, Sam, to Hillside Pet and absolutely love everybody there. We cant say enough good things about the staff and facility but most important, the welfare of our fur baby is always achieved for Sam. As for price, I have not checked around for price comparison; however, we dont feel the prices are excessive and the services rendered by Dr. Hill & staff are worth more than $$. We kennel Sam with Hillside as well as he (Sam) always runs to the techs. One time we took Sam to a different kennel when Hillside was full. When we picked him up, Sam was actually shaking and couldnt get out of his stall fast enough. We decided if Hillside is full, we dont go out of town!

Ive gone to Dr. Hill for over 5 years now. Hes seen 6 dogs and 1 cat. He sees my 4 dogs on a regular basis. He is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate about treating animals. His staff is very helpful and knows us all by name. I got my mom to switch to him and she couldnt be happier. His prices are fair and gears his treatment to meet your needs. They are there when we need them. Keep up the great work! They also have pet plans that save money if you have multiple cats and dogs.

The clinic staff were very helpful providing me service the same day I called them to check two parrots. Its not easy to find a vet that also provides services to birds. The parrats are doing great with the prescription provided. Polly is growing her feathers !!!

Our family loves Hillside Pet Clinic! They were amazing when we had to send our older pup to the Rainbow Bridge. And they provide great care to our newest dog. We drive over 30 minutes to get to them because of the service and attention. Clean and friendly.
