THEY ARE FAMILY TO ME! NINE MONTHS AGO, MY BELOVED YORKIE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH KIDNEY FAILURE. SHE WAS GIVEN A SHORT TIME TO LIVE, BUT AFTER WEIGHING ALL MY OPTIONS, I OPTED TO GIVE SUB-Q FLUIDS SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK. I LIVED AT THIS VETERINARIAN OFFICE FOR THE LAST NINE MONTHS AND IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS, EVERY DAY. SEEING HOW THEY CARE FOR THESE ANIMALS IS ABSOLUTELY HOW I WOULD WANT TO BE CARED FOR IF I WERE SICK. ALL THE TECHS, RECEPTIONIST AND VETS BECAME MY FAMILY. THEY GAVE ME 9 MORE MONTHS WITH BELOVED PET THAT I OTHERWISE WOULD NOT HAVE HAD. I JUST RECENTLY LOST HER, BUT THEY ALL GRIEVED FOR HER WITH ME. I LOVE THESE PEOPLE AND CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THEM. I HAVE SEEN ALL THE DOCTORS, AND ALL ARE FANTASTIC. LOVE, LOVE, MY FAMILY AT SLIDELL VET HOSPITAL!

We live in Lafayette and will often wait till we visit family in Slidell just to use this vet. Very laid back atmosphere but at the same time the care our Bostons receive is very comprehensive and thorough. They have done everything for us from annual checkups to actual surgeries and every interaction has been great. On our last trip one of the veterinarians had mentioned that based on some symptoms our dog was exhibiting that she may possibly have Cushings disease. Sure enough upon lab work a month later back home it was a spot on diagnosis. If you want high quality care coming from seasoned veterinarians at a more than fair and reasonable price then I would highly recommend Slidell Veterinary Hospital.

This place is absolutely a rip off!!! I took my dog here to get Fixed, and she had just been in heat 8 days ago. I made sure to wait until she was no longer in heat, as this place charges an extra 100$ just because of bleeding (even though when you open up a dog they bleed anyways). But even after I waited just to make sure this would not happen to me a second time, the vet still charged me claiming my dog had gone back into heat. I told the vet I will pay this ludacris charge. But I would never come back to this place, and I would make sure to tell everyone how he scames people out of their hard earned money. Just because people love their pets!!

We had taken Buffy to an emergency vet the night before for fever, vomiting and sluggishness because Slidell Veterinary Clinic was closed . After treatment they suggested we take her to her primary vet which has been Slidell Veterinary Clinic for the last 14 years. As always, all the staff treated Buffy with kindness, attentiveness, and gave her overall great care. Shes back to her normal bouncing self after 3 days. Oh, Buffy is a 15 year old Toy Poodle. My three yorkies receive the best care here. The staff is very attentive to the problems your pet is having . They are always friendly and polite. I have had two experiences where i thought something was really wrong with my babies. One was minor ,but one was heart worms, Dr Firmin was so informative on the treatment and care for my baby girl that i left that day feeling we could do this. He is such a sweetheart . All of my babies ( Rascal, Tootie, and Pi) are healthy and happy pups . Thanks Dr Firmin and crew. M Radecker.

We are new to the area, and I am extremely delighted to have found Slidell Vet Hospital, especially since they are extremely convenient to our house. I have been totally satisfied with their service, staff, and most of all, the knowledge of the vet Ive seen each time Ive been in. She has been a tremendous help to my babies and to me. I would recommend them to anyone who seeks a new veterinary hospital, either because they are moving here or changing from an existing vet/facility.

My pets receive quality care at Slidell Veterinary Clinic. They are also reasonably priced and worked with me when my pet had a crisis. The doctors are courteous and do not try to "scare" me into adding extra services for my pets. I enjoy the staff too. If they see me out on the street, they come up to me to ask my how my pets are doing. They are easy to talk to and I can usually get same day appointments. Im very happy with them!

I absolutely adored coming to Slidell Veterinary Hospital! I had to come in quickly and they made time for me. They didnt seem rushed to fit me in. The vet was very thorough when examining my kitten and explained everything to me as easily as possible. She listened when I asked questions and gave me detailed answers. The reception desk employees were super nice as well! I will definitely be coming back here!

I love this place I recently had taken my dog Molly to have surgery it went very well they were very helpful that dog is my whole world my entire life so I pretty much trusted them with my whole life in their hands and everything went fine and my baby girl is doing great I cant thank yall enough and will continue to use yall forever thanks so much!!!

Very friendly quick service, I was able to get an appointment same day and a very short wait for the Vet to see us. This was just for a yearly check up and immunizations. I am moving back to this Clinic from Banfield. I have great confidence I am making the right move for our dogs.

I searched all over Slidell for the chewy treats Dr. Mahly used and could not find them anywhere. I called Slidell Veterinary Hospital and the receptionist informed me they sold them at their office. I went by and bought a bag making my 7 month old Lab mixed a happy puppy.

You will find Dr Firmin and his staff much more than pet friendly (as well as competent). Your pet companions will also become a part of their family. They have provided exceptional care (including major and minor surgeries) to my furry friends for over 10 years.
