Dr. Faust most certainly only cares about the money. My sister took her yorkie to him because she was coughing and he said after about 2minutes with the dog that she had a respiratory infection and charged her 300$ plus the charge for medicine. The dog was still coughing after a week and half and was actually worse. She called and he said to bring her back in and this time he said she had congestive heart failure and would be fine if she took heart medicine once a month for the rest of her life. The dog had a seizure and she called him and dr. faust said he was at a ball game to take her to the emergency vet. she ended up having to put her dog to sleep and that cost her another 300$ plus over a thousand she paid to Dr. Faust. I was going to take my pig there to get spayed and he said it was going to be 130$ since he personally had a pig I was going to trust that he knew what he was doing. the morning of the surgery he told me it was going to 505$ because its riskier than he thought! i mean WHAT!!??? I took my pig out of there. Such a scam artist!!!!!

Mr. Faust has been in Slidell for many years and has been a vet for over 30 years. He is really good with all animals. Im more of a dog person then a cat personally to me they are the most trainable, responsive of all household pets. As we all know, dogs have long been known as “man’s / girls best friend,” and the most fervent dog lovers ever so effusively proclaim that owning a dog is like having another family member. This may sound like an exaggeration to people who don’t own dogs, but even the most casual dog owners would have to nod in agreement. Mr. Faust takes care of cats and dogs. He is a great Veterinarian and has been for many years and if anyone asked me where to go I would tell you Faust Veterinary.

Asked for a shot record to be faxed to an out of state groomer, assured they would fax the document but they never did. Very discouraging! Now my appointment has to be cancelled because my doctor, who I pay good money to care for my fur babies, dropped the ball! My babies are itching and full of flees and desperately needing a good bath and groom. The office is closed, and there is no way to reach anyone. No call to say they couldnt send the fax, or confirm either way! Very irresponsible! I am not going back!

As the dog coordinator for Pontchartrain Humane Society, Dr. Faust is the best diagnostician I have ever met. We have brought dogs in with all sorts of injury/illnesses, and he has never disappointed us. He was also the only veterinarian in Slidell that was willing to work with us wehn we began over a decade ago. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

We had the shots for our 3 cats updated here. The price couldnt be beat (we came during February and they had a special going). They didnt push anything extra or unneeded. It was easy to make an appointment and they were very quick and to the point. They have mail in rebate cards for flea medicine that can bring down the cost of flea treatment as well.

Best vet in Slidell! There is a reason why Dr. Faust has been in business over 30 years. He treats my babies with the best care and he is very sweet and gentle. I would not let any other vet touch my animals. The staff at Faust Veterinary Hospital is very kind and knowledgeable. I always recommend Dr. Faust to anyone who is in need of a good vet.

This is the best Vet in Slidell! My family has taken our pets here for years and we love Dr. Faust. He always knows exactly what is best for them. We have never had any issues with him or anyone at the clinic. These are truly great people!
