I brought my dog, Eevee in for an exam because she was vomiting excessively. Dr. True worked with me and had some of the most comforting, but very professional bedside manor I have ever seen ( and my sister works at Naperville animal hospital). My poor pup at 11 weeks was diagnosed with parvo. Distraught and feeling like i would lose my sweet pup, I took her home with the expectation that she would no longer eat, and wither away, taking with her the few good memories I had been able to grow with her, as even with treatment, parvo is, " a flip of a coin" Well fret not for this story has a happy ending. Dr. True administered a treatment that not only worked, but took a huge burden off of us trying to administer the usual oral antibiotics daily, when she couldnt eat, and gave us an anti nausea shot to begin so that we may be able to get the rest of her anti nausea pills in her belly. Our lovely little lady started eating on her own after only two days! Not to mention that after seeing Dr. True, she didnt vomit again. Nor did she have any diarrhea. Our pup beat parvo, and Dr. True still calls to check in on our little girl. Having been raised around someone working at "one of the best animal hospitals around" I can tell you confidently that no practice holds a light to the exceptional care Dr. True gave us. When I called with further questions a veterinary assistant I did not meet that day lit up with questions asking how Eevee was doing. This. Practice. Cares. If you want the best hope for your beloved furbabies, I would call you a fool not to go to the Downers Grove Animal Clinic first. They beat out every other option we tried, by a long shot. Our little girl is as annoyingly energetic as the day we brought her home now :) no more lethargy, no more inappetence, no more dehydration. If I could give this practice 10/5 stars I would. Thank you Dr. True, and thanks to all the caring folks at the clinic.

The nicest veterinarian I have ever met (Dr.True). He made me feel like he truly cares about my dogs well-being and was so thorough in explaining everything about procedures and results. Extremely patient with my questions. No comparison to our (loved) vet which we have gone to for almost a decade. We will be switching permanently after such a pleasant experience! Prices are also much better than other local vets; highly recommended.

This veterinary practice truly cares for the well being of the animals they see and treat. My four dogs are treated like well-loved family!

No wait. Dr. Gus is very attentive. Cares for every animal that comes through the door. The staff is excellent. Explains everything. I board my dog there when I have no one to watch her while Im gone for vacation or weekends.
